Clarins: Become a fan of theirs before November 8, because that’s the cutoff date for receiving the mystery Clarins freebie on Nov. 9.

Outback Steakhouse: If you’re one of the first 500,000 people to become a fan, you get a coupon for a free Bloomin’ Onion with the purchase of an entree. They’re only at 70,000 fans right now, so something tells me all of use will get the coupon.

Papa John’s Pizza: Become a fan and get a free medium cheese pizza with a minimum online order of $10. Offer expires on Nov. 9 and if you don’t want to become a fan of theirs, here’s a sneaky way to simply have the coupon e-mailed to you.

USA Weekend: I don’t normally post contests (but will soon! *hint hint*), however USA Weekend magazine is holding a contest to give away one free Epiphone Les Paul Special II Gibson guitar autographed by Lady Antebellum. All you have to do is become a fan of them on Facebook and currently, there are only 2,000 fans! If all 8,500+ Facebook Hiffers joined in on this contest, chances are one of us would win. You must become a fan by Friday, Nov. 13, at 9 a.m. and official rules can be found here.

The third and final round for Kodak’s free $15 gift code started yesterday and will be available to the first 100,000 people to sign up. Unfortunately, the discount doesn’t apply to shipping and you can’t receive another free $15 if you got one during the first two rounds. However, a slew of new readers have discovered HIF recently and many Hiffers commented on the last post and mentioned that they got some great items for little more than the cost of shipping, including a family photo book, Christmas ornaments and photo cards, and personalized coffee mugs.

I finally settled on what to get my mom as a gift, but since she reads HIF, I can’t say what it is. Okay, fine, I’ll tell you *lowers voice to a whisper* it’s the coffee mug!

If you missed the first offer or didn’t use your code in time, Kodak has released 100,000 more free $15 gift codes. Unfortunately, the discount doesn’t apply to shipping, but you can still net some really nice items on the cheap. Like before, once all the codes are given out for this phase, 40% off codes will be given away. If you were the recipient of a 40% code last time, then you’re allowed to come back during this or the next phase and get the free $15 code.

The funny thing is that I download all this free music and then promptly forget about it. Months later, iTunes will shuffle past one of the songs and it’s like a brand new discovery. “Hey, I’ve never heard this before! Cool, new music!”

If you’re thinking about making any semi-big purchases in October, you may want to consider taking this fairly long survey in exchange for a free month subscription to ConsumerReports.org. They’re a non-profit consumer agency that reviews everything from digital cameras to lawnmowers to dishwashers and they’re quite blunt if a product is superb, average, or downright atrocious. Kinda like me. I’m not afraid to tell it like it is! Just as long as it doesn’t bother anybody. I wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings.

I personally didn’t take this survey, as I already have a subscription with them, but others have said it’s a bit on the long side. Still, it’s a good deal if you want a second opinion before buying something.

Carl’s Jr. – Click the “Get What You Deserve” tab, then click on the burger, and finally scroll down to find a coupon for a free small fries with the purchase of The Big Carl burger at regular price. There’s also a chuckle inducing video at the top of the page staring Leon from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Facebook Ads – So far Chick-fil-A, Burt’s Bees, and Texas Pete Hot Sauce have been confirmed as companies giving away freebies randomly throughout Facebook via their ads. More info can be found in this post.

Lettering Delights – They’re offering $10 in free product and there’s no minimum order plus you get free shipping! You can browse through their products on their website and the offer doesn’t expire until September 30, so you’ve got some time to pick what you want. Just to be clear, most of what they sell are downloadable fonts, graphics, and doodads that are used for scrapbooking.

*TODAY ONLY* Panda Express – You don’t even have to become a fan to get this coupon for a free SweetFire Chicken Breast entree. Like the bold today only text implies, this coupon is only valid for Friday, September 25.

Sara Lee Pre-Sliced Deli Meat – Become a fan and get a free $3 coupon. Some people say this is their favorite meat for sandwiches, but I think that’s bullocks. Everybody knows it’s too delicious to bother with putting in a sandwich!

Okay, so that was a pretty weak list, but it’s all I could find for this week.

This free Carfax Report offer is more of a playful freebie unless you’re in the market to purchase a car. I used my free report to look up my truck and was told that the odometer had potentially been tampered. Yeah, it’s my fault the makers only put five digits on the display so that after 99,999 it simply rolled over. Furthermore, I can’t believe I was caught! As soon as the first 100,000 were put on it, I raced around the country to secretly put on another 100,000 without anybody being any the wiser!

You know, I probably shouldn’t be telling this to tens of thousands of people. I’d make a horrible evil scientist.

If you drink any Coke products with regularity, you should consider signing up for My Coke Rewards and entering in the points found under the cap / inside the box. They can be redeemed for magazine subscriptions, coupons for free drinks, and various other prizes.

There’s currently a deal going on where you can also get 25 free points as well as a coupon for a free appetizer at T.G.I. Friday’s if you go to their Earn Points page and click on the TGIF logo. It’ll take you to a TGIF signup form for their Give Me More Stripes reward program and after you join, you’ll then be e-mailed a code worth 25 Coke points. Coupons for free drinks only cost 24 points, so basically you’re getting a free drink plus the free coupon that TGIF will send you for an appetizer.

Tech news sites Mashable and Inside Facebook are reporting that some companies are testing out a new Facebook advertising feature by offering freebies directly in their ads! The current ad that people are finding is a Chick-fil-A offer that links to a free chicken biscuit. If you happen to see the ad, simply click, enter in your address, and they’ll send you a coupon!

Please raise your hand if you’ve never heard of Swagbucks. Holy moly, why are so many of you holding your hands up?

For anybody who is new to HIF, Swagbucks is basically Google + prizes. You search with them just as you would with Google, but the key difference occurs when you win swagbucks, which can be redeemed for gift cards, books, sports memorabilia, video games, school supplies – you name it, they’ve got it. Unless you just named pet turtles. I don’t think they have those.

Well the bigwigs at Swagbucks are releasing some new features and as a result, have offered new users from HIF a free swag code that gives them 2 free points. Couple that with the automatic 3 free points you’ll get for signing up and that’s…uh…hold on, let me find my calculator.

The code is freeswagcode (in all lower caps) and expires on 9/10/09.

Like I said, Swagbucks has some new features, for new and old users alike. One is a toolbar that is compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. The cool thing about the bar is that, for the entire month of September, Swagbucks will release an exclusive free swagcode each day on it! That’s 30 free swagbucks by the end of the month! An Amazon giftcard costs only 45 points, so toss in whatever points you’ve already earned and you’ll most likely have enough to get it!

They’ve also got a version of Bingo coming out called SWAGO where you can play and win points. It hasn’t been released yet, but you can check out their blog this week and get all the details there. And as always, their Twitter and Facebook accounts are pretty good sources for unique codes as well.

Pei Wei Asian Diner – After becoming a fan, click on the “Upgrade Ramen” tab and sign the petition. A card will then be sent to you in the mail, which can be redeemed for a free order of Japanese Chile Beef Ramen.

TeenFreeway – After becoming a fan, fill out this form and get a voucher sent to your email for a free Beauty Gift with a cosmetic brush. It looks like they’re only taking submissions from teenagers, so if you’re able to buy tobacco or alcohol legally, this isn’t for you. But look at the bright side – you can buy tobacco and alcohol!

The Cheesecake Factory – After becoming a fan, click on the “Vegas” tab and then click on “Enter Now.” Fill out the sweepstakes form and you could then win a trip to Las Vegas for you and 9 of your friends! I’d really appreciate it if none of y’all entered this though so that I have a better chance of winning

Bumble Bee Tuna Coupon – They’re giving out coupons good for $1 off any 2 BumbleBee Food products. And now’s the time where I make the very obvious “hey, what’s up with a company called Bumble Bee making primarily seafood products” joke. Bet you didn’t see that one coming! I’m such a surprise, you never know what you’re gonna get next from me.

Corner Bakery Cafe – After becoming a fan, share your “Stay Local” summer plans by posting on their wall and they’ll send you an offer for a free sweet.

Free Spaghetti Warehouse Lasagna – Become a fan of Spaghetti Warehouse and receive a coupon for a free 15-Layer Lasagna (ooh, my arteries) on National Lasagna Day. What? You don’t know when National Lasagna Day is? What kind of American are you?! It’s July 29, which is tomorrow(!), and this coupon will be valid there between 11am-3pm.

Their locations are a bit spotty, so check in advance to see if you’ve got one nearby before signing up for the coupon.

$1 Off Caribou Coffee Wild Cooler – This offer still seems to be valid, so I assume the July 6th expiration date was just a myth. Other things I’ve discovered to be myths recently include Eskimos having a gazillion different words for snow and me knowing where I left my car the other night after taking a cab home from town.

Five Free US Magazine Issues – If you become a fan, it looks like they’ll send you 5 free issues of the magazine. HOWEVER, it looks like they’ll also try and bill you once the freebies have been used up, so if you don’t want to go through a phone call to customer support saying you don’t want a subscription, you might want to pass on this.

Free Sears $10 Coupon – Become a fan and get a free baloney sandwich. Let’s see how many of you are paying attention at this point.

Free Coach Pencils & Case – If you happen to be going to your nearest Coach store anytime soon, fill out the form that was found on their Facebook page, print out the confirmation page, and then take it in with you to receive the free pencils and case.

Free Starbucks Ice Cream Coupon – And finally, yet another offer we’ve already posted. It’s still available for a few more days though and some people have reported already getting their coupons, so it’s pretty darn quick.
