There’s no way my desk can support free Avery sticky notes. There’s already 300 pounds worth of sticky notes scattered in front of me. I’m told some people only use one or two notes at a time to keep track of small tasks at hand, but I can’t comprehend that method.

I’m in the middle of helping a friend remove some objectionable material from Google. Who knows how it got there but I was told by those with firsthand knowledge of the events that I somehow was responsible for every imaginable role. Upon hearing that news I proposed we completely cease investigating the origins of the website and when that didn’t work I pretended not to understand nor speak English. My final play was to buy their silence with some free Post-It durable tabs. Their continued punches on my shoulders makes me think it didn’t work.

Well here’s a holiday that doesn’t traditionally have freebies associated with it. MLK Day is coming up on Jan. 17 and to spread the word the government is giving away free MLK Day promotional items.

Alright then. If there’s one thing my place is missing, it’s more door hangers.

This might be a little tricky for some, so here’s what you do. Check the items you want, then add them to your cart. Click your cart near the top middle of the screen and start the checkout process. It’ll ask you to register a free account and then once you do so, you’ll be taken back to the registration screen. Turns out that doubles as the login screen. Login to your account and just hit submit.

There are only 9,526 free Zebra Z-Grip Daisies pens left in stock so I’m not going to dilly dally around thinking of a joke. Although I’m signing up for a zebra z-grip daisy pen which is laughable enough in and of itself.

Oh no, now there are only 8,838 left! These will be gone within minutes.

Historically thinking, I don’t think that I’ve seen this free historical thinking poster before. But when you’ve been writing about freebies as long as Goob and I have? You sort of lose track of some of these freebies…

That Joan Jett song was written about me. Seriously. With the music on my iPod and how loud I blare it? Well, I’ve gone from listening Nine Inch Nail’s “Star ***ers Inc” to Stevie Wonder’s “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life.” And music trivia? My associates at work are starting to learn that you don’t mess with me (Yes, Bob Dylan did originally write “All Along The Watchtower,” even if there were references to lines in the song prior from people like Leadbelly).

So its no wonder that I’ve heard it all about safe listening, and why I fully think that this free Noisy Planet Pencil and hearing loss brochure stuff is awesome.

I don’t think, though, that the bad weather test siren going on outside is, though. I’d take “Aqualung” any day over this…

Through September 9, they are giving away 1000 pens on a first come basis starting each day at noon EST, which is only 30 minutes away! Unless you’re reading this in the daily newsletter, at which point you’ll have to wait until tomorrow. The minor inconvenience is yet another incentive for somebody to hurry up and invent a time machine.

I’d love to come up with a joke for these free Post-It Durable Tabs & Label Pads, but I’m actually on vacation this week and my entire family is standing in front of me in their bathing suits and tapping their feet. Apparently they’re ready for the beach right this very second.

I’d like to think that any note written on a free Post-It Super Sticky Notes would have a higher chance of being read in the future, but we all know that’s a dream. I’ll jot something down, stick it on my monitor, and then it’ll get buried within minutes by other sticky notes. Which reminds me…
