Disney Rewards Update

A lot of Hiffers had their Disney Rewards account blocked over the past few days and for that, I am extremely sorry. Many of the codes I posted were old codes that their system was mistakenly accepting due to a glitch when they moved to their new site. Fret not, however, because the blocked accounts are completely reversible.

  • Call Disney Movie Rewards at 1-866-246-8646 any time Mon-Fri from 9:30 to 6:30 CST
  • Press 0
  • Explain to them that your account was blocked because you accidentally typed in an old code. They’ll need your name and e-mail address associated with your account and you should be unblocked within 24-48 hours.

All told, the process is pretty harmless and took me about 5 minutes from start to finish. Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience! I try my best to properly vet every freebies posted on HIF, but every now and then something like this slips through the cracks.

    Thanks for the helpful explanation! I never got to the point of entering any of these new codes and received a form letter through e-mail when trying to tell them my account isn’t working. Rather than being blocked outright, I get an odd error messages each time (“disney.globalreg.carbon.error.login_once_modify_email
    “). Due to the blocking, it seems that they don’t really want “freebie followers” around.

    My account wasn’t blocked for entering in invalid codes, but for entering in too many duplicate codes! Not like the list is easily there for me to go through all the codes I entered and make sure they aren’t duplicates. I had an additional problem of having several accounts with the same email address (I’d keep forgetting all those passwords). So even though I went through the steps labeled on the website I had to go through 3 levels of customer service to get it fixed! Then they had to unblock me. Hope noone else has to go through all that trouble. And I rely on this website to give me the codes I miss in all those emails, not trying to cheat anything.
