And if anyone else signed up for it for free before the offer switched over, check your e-mail... I just got this:

Dear Adam Cohen
Recently you filled out a form online to receive a free supply of Pet Ecology Perfect Litter. The offer you responded to was closed to the public and was promoted on a bunch of free offer websites without our permission, drawing a massive response. Our normal offer requires a credit card to cover part of the shipping and handling cost and enrollment into our home delivery service for cat litter www.perfectlitter.com. It appears that a lot of these orders have fake information causing a concern for us. The cost of shipping this product is extremely expensive and we need to better understand if the orders received through this unsanctioned offer were real or fake. We would like to ask a few questions so we can parse the real customers from the fake ones.
How many cats do you own?
How much cat litter do you buy each month in pounds?
How much do you spend each month on cat litter?
Does the idea of a cat litter home delivery interest you?
What is the most important thing when you buy cat litter? Price, Quality of product or Ease of purchase
What do you dislike the most about your current cat litter? Heavy weight, Odor control, tracking, dust or other
Do you use the same cat litter every month if so what brand?
Does it concern you that clay based cat litter is very harmful to the environment?
Would you pay a premium for high quality cat litter?
We appreciate you taking this little survey. This information will help us create a solution to these orders. We cannot guarantee anything but we will do our best to resolve this issue once we understand the information better.
Thanks,
Kevin Roberts

Obviously, I replied back truthfully. I understand where they're coming from, but if the offer didn't have a credit card info place like it didn't when I applied, well, why should I pay? That's changing the offer after I applied and doesn't meet with the terms and conditions that I agreed under.
We'll see if this one comes. I'd be interested in it as a freebee, and maybe for $.99 handling if it doesn't mean I need to give them a card and "cancel" after my sample, but if they want me to sign up to get this sample? Forget that...
