Free IHOP Short Stack Pancakes on March 1, 2022

The annual free National Pancake Day at IHOP will return on March 1, 2022! Stop in between 7am-4pm and get a free stack of buttermilk pancakes!

Veteran Hiffers will recognize this recurring yearly offer, but here's how it works if you're new to the game.

  1. Join IHOP's free MyHOP rewards system before February 28.
  2. Go to a participating IHOP on March 1.
  3. Eat one free short stack of pancakes.

That about sums it up. You can search by zip code on their site to make sure your local IHOP is participating before heading out.

In lieu of payment, they'll ask you to make a donation to one of three children's charities: Children's Miracle Network, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It's not required, but it's a nice thing to do. Besides, we're all nice people here, aren't we?

This freebie also triggers the IHOP free birthday pancakes offer AND you'll get a free pancakes coupon emailed to you just for joining today! I feel like Oprah screaming “you get pancakes, they get pancakes, everybody gets pancakes!”

Sorry, but this freebie has expired.

However here are five recent freebies still available!

  1. im pretty sure dairy queen is having a free cone day on march 16th, so if you can find it i would post 🙂 Thanks for all these freebies! Its like getting bills, but its not paper, it doesnt cost you anything, an its totally awesome!

  2. This promo goes on til 10PM so the ones in school wouldn’t have to cut class. We were able to enjoy the promo and got in before the dinner rush. Most of the people who came in ordered other items whether it was beverage or food or both. I love their pancakes so it was a good excuse to pay a visit. Yes we ordered other food and did make a donation.

  3. The donations go to the Shriners Hospitals for kids and they are asking that you donate at least the cost of the pancakes. Its a tax deduction and a great charity. The bonus is that you get to eat pancakes but no one should go with out the intention to make a donation. That would be bad karma!

  4. My and my roommates are all over this one! Plus the fact that it just so happens to fall on my birthday this year doesn’t hurt. Gotta love birthday freebies!

(side note: we are going to Buca di Beppo for dinner that night and i got a free coupon for an appitizer and another for a free dessert from signing up for their eclub)
