Freebies Received: Weeks #121-124

Freebies from Hey, It's Free!

I’ve been away from my previous Goob HQ for about a month. This is what I came back to.

Did anyone else receive the Overtime pain relief lotion? I don’t remember signing up for it and the only mention on HIF that I can find is a post from December 2010. If that’s truly the only time I requested it, that means it took them two and a half years to mail my freebies … WHICH IS AWESOME!

I received the Overtime pain relief lotion a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t remember signing up for it either. That stuff works! I gave it to my mom who has chronic back pain, and she said it was as effective as the electro treatment she received in therapy. She was disappointed when I told her I didn’t have any more.

    Re: Overtime pain relielf lotion:
Actually, wouldn’t it only be a year and a half?? :p

  • marti1013

I received the scented garbage bags and the crespo olive samples.  Those olives were DELISH!!!

  • April F

Wow, how did you get the electronic cigarette for free?

  • I didn’t get the pain relief lotion but did get a few other things. I started posting my weekly haul on my blog.

  • Goob

@marti1013 I can’t wait to try the olives.

  • Goob

Excellent question. I think it was a freebie that died before I could get a post up.

  • K

when i first started signing up for freebies i used to keep track of it all. but then i found out i only rec’d about half of what i signed up for so i stopped. now it is a pleasant surprise when stuff shows up several months after the fact as i had long forgotten about it.
one of the things i did receive this week was the cpn booklet with $8 worth of Crest Pro Health cpns from VocalPoint that unfortunately had expired almost 2 wks prior to when I rec’d them.

  • K

@Goob i got one too and didnt remember signing up for it. It was off of their facebook page though.

  • eilee

Hey Goob-  It is really okay to stop getting the Wall St. journal.  We’ll let you and therefore clean up an awful lot of clutter and save the environment.

  • Goob

@eilee I do read SOME of them, though not many. They all end up in my recycling bin regardless.

  • flowerprincess

I never received the Olay Pro Skin headband nor the Two packs of Crespo olives, someone is stealing my samples or they just never came.  Really wanted to try the olives.

  • Candras

@eilee My thoughts exactly….such a terrible waste….just to be able to say you got it free? How about if we just request the free items that we actually want to use….what a fabulous savings of time, resources, trees, etc.

  • Cruiser3

    Crespo Olives
    Muir Glen Tomatoes
trashbags and other misc. items. Good hull.
    Thank you!

  • I love the magazines, newspaper and food.  I had the olives the other day!  The chili ones were good but the other ones made me vomit all over the desk of the oval office.  The tampons were too small for my wife.
