Following up on their successful Election Day giveaway, you can getjust by stopping in at your local store tomorrow (Tuesday, January 20, 2009). I say they keep up with the pace they've now set and give away free donuts once every two months. I'm pretty sure that was one of Obama's campaign promises or something. 4
If you live on the mid-Atlantic east coast (like yours truly), chances are you've got anearby. If that's the case, then stop by for some that they'll start giving away for 24 hours straight starting at 4:00 today. I'd love to go grab some of this once the promotion starts up, but it's so windy outside that I'm afraid to go out there. If there's anything Hollywood's taught me, it's that I should expect to see a cow fly by my window any moment now.

If you have a, then put on your favorite college sports team attire and drop in today only for a courtesy of Dr. Pepper. I'm not sure if you can only get Dr. Pepper or if you can go for any other drink, but since I don't have a Valero near me, I don't get to find out.
Who wants to live on the edge, try to get a free fountain coke, and then report your experience in the comments?! Come on, spice up your life a little and be daring. Before you know it, you'll be taking an extra minute long lunch break at work and staying up past your bedtime while eating cookies in bed. I can already feel my heart racing just at the thought of all this! Phew, I need to go find a paper bag to breath into.2
I know this is a bit last minute, but I just got a notice that today there's another T-Mobile Customer Delight Day TODAY (Saturday, December 13, 2008). I know a few Hiffers stopped by their store when this happened last month, so here's to hoping this freebie goes just as smoothly.
* Get 100 FREE bonus minutes just for stopping by — a $40 value.
* Get 200 FREE bonus minutes if you bring a friend — an $80 value.
* Refer a customer to T-Mobile and get a $25 credit on your next bill.
* Sign up for T-Mobile @Home and get the first month free — a $10 value!
As always, I'd call ahead and make sure your local store is participating. However, that'll eat up a few of your minutes. Dang you, Lady Irony!

If you're out shopping this weekend and see a free Godiva chocolate and try not to pass out from all the deliciousness. They're giving away free European Dessert Truffles this weekend followed by Candy Cane Bark next weekend. I had no idea candy canes were harvest from trees, but here's to hoping the bark is just as tasty. And if anybody wants to buy me one of these candy cane trees for Christmas, you'd officially be my best friend., stop in for some

I'd never heard of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, but they apparently have over 140 locations, so yet again what do I know? In my defense, it looks like they're a company mainly located in the southwest, so if you're currently wearing a coat and cursing the weather, you probably won't qualify for this freebie.
Why? Well, because tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 11), they're giving away a 12oz. holiday drink from 5-8pm.
Come in and cozy up to a complimentary 12oz. holiday drink to celebrate the season with friends, old and new! We’re serving up our Holiday Blend coffee, the famous Winter Dream Tea® and Tea Lattes, Peppermint Ice Blended® drinks and Lattes, and our Espresso Mint Chip Ice Blended® drink– FREE!
Free coffee AND warm weather? That's it, it's time for another spontaneous road trip.

Hey, here's another freebie for tomorrow that a few people just sent in. You can get a free cookie from Doubletree hotels just by walking in and asking for one at the front desk – you don't even have to be dressed up! They have over 185 locations nationwide, so if you live near a decent sized city or work downtown near one, swing by and snag the free cookie. These suckers are pretty good to boot, despite the gazillion calories I'm sure they contain. Or should I say because of the gazillion calories?2
Remember when I dressed up like a cow last summer in exchange for a free meal at Chick-fil-A? Yeah, that was awesome. Now the question is should I dress up like a burrito tomorrow in order to get a freebie at Chipotle? I believe the answer is “yes” and you should as well! Call ahead to make sure you're location is participating, but most restaurants will give you a free burrito if you show up after 5 or 6pm wrapped in tin foil. Technically you can dress up as a burrito, taco, bowl or salad and I'm seriously doubting that your costume has to be all that elaborate. I'll probably just cover my face in tin foil, poke a few eye holes, and then enjoy my tasty freebie for dinner.5
Hiffers! How I've missed you so over these past few days. I've been down in sunny Florida since Friday and it's been quite odd not hunting for freebies and answering e-mails all day long. Luckily it looks like Adam and Shaynon have covered things nicely here, so much thanks to both of them for keeping the freebies flowing while I've been away. They did such a great job that I even extended my vacation for another few days, but I'll be posting regularly while I'm down here.
In the meantime, remember to get yourtomorrow (Tuesday, October 28) between 2:00 and 6:00pm. Of course, if you have multiple Taco Bell locations near your work or home, you may want to enjoy an extra freebie or two 😉 5
I'm a general sports fan in that I can watch pretty much anything. Oh, football's on? Sweet, turn it up. Nascar? Okay, I guess driving in a circle's a sport. Aussie rules rugby? Heck yes! (seriously, I think more Americans would love this style, but I digress.) My true passion is baseball though, which is why I was thrilled when I saw this free taco from Taco Bell offer that might get more people to watch the World Series when it starts on Wednesday. Why? Because we only get the taco if any one player steals a base in the upcoming World Series.
Luckily, not only is history on our side (there's been at least one stolen base in each of the past 17 World Series), but there's going to be ample opportunity for somebody to swipe a bag since between the Phillies and the Rays, there are six players who had at least 20 stolen bases this year. My money's on either Philly's Shane Victorino or Tampa's Carl Crawford being the one to bring home this freebie for us.
But when can we actually get the freebie? If the stolen base occurs in Games 1-4 on October 22, 23, 25 or 26, we can get the taco on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. If the base is stolen in Games 5-7, October 27, 29 or 30, we get it Monday, November 3, 2008. (the official website says 3008, but I'm really hoping that's a typo!) Whichever day it is, we can get the taco between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. So basically just plan on eating a lunch or dinner at Taco Bell pretty soon and enjoying a free taco while you're there 🙂6
