Americans spent $400 billion dollars on groceries in 2011. That's a lot of money to be spending on Oreos. In fact, that's a little too much money if you ask me.
Thankfully the fine folks over at Savings.com are releasing a new app for Android and iOS next week (but you can get it today via HIF!) called Favado and I have to say it looks pretty darn amazing.
Long story short it's an app that fellow coupon and freebie bloggers contribute to in order to bring you the latest sales and offers at over 65,000 grocery and drugstores nationwide. And we're not talking Bob's Backyard Meat Shack in Tumbleweed Town USA, but large stores like Walmart, CVS, Kroger, and more to come.
The app is pretty darn easy to use (plus there's a helpful guide already published). You can create your own shopping list, receive push notifications for certain stores or sales, and even see what coupons are available to further increase your savings!
So how do you get in on this?
- Sign up for a free Favado account.
- Download the app.
- Log into the app with your new account and select which stores you shop at.
That's it! You'll now be able to select specific stores to see what's on sale this week or compare your favorite stores to see who has the better advertised deals. And since the entire app is run by deal bloggers, there will also be unpublished sales listed as well!
I have enough trouble couponing as it. Favado looks like it might save my butt. If you're in the same boat or looking for more ways to save on your weekly grocery bill, then check it out!
