I've heard a lot of things called “art,” but this freebie perplexes me. This free Art of Ironing DVD from Rowenta just makes me think of feng shui or something? As if we're supposed to have some zen moment with our irons as we coast and glide their heated surfaces across our fabric, attempting carefully not to remove the shirt logos or to add additional pleats or creases into our slacks or shirts. To find some inner peace between the heat, cloth, water, and steel. Just to exist as one in a fluid and swift motion…
What? Its not like “art” with “ironing” would be your iron doing a paint by numbers now, would it?

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

My sister and I exchange gag gifts for Christmas. Looks like I’ve got my first one!
My idea of ironing? Put the wrinkled article of clothing under the couch cushion and have my dog sit on it. (She weighs more than I do.) π I haven’t actually TRIED it, but I’ve THOUGHT about it. I HATE to iron. π
well, I have a Rowenta iron, and it is the cadillac of irons!! really, it is a wonderful iron and it gets the job done the first time.
Great description. Man, I like reading HIF freebie descriptions at work.
I ordered this a few weeks ago and it arrived at my house pretty quickly. I still haven’t really had an urge to watch it yet.
I’m still waiting on a Roomba like ironing robot. It’d be the perfect invention for lazy people like me.
