I'm a human trashcan. Whatever I can eat, I will. Take Sunday night, for instance. My dinner? 5 egg omelete with heavy cream in it, and some brie, havarti, parmesan, and asiago cheese with a bit of beef sausage in it, a side of baby potatoes, a scone, and some pudding. Lunch? Applebees. Breakfast? Coffee and a scone. And if that sounds normal, well, I won't talk about the gefilte fish I had on Saturday night. Yum!
But in all seriousness, folks with diabetes aren't as lucky to be able to eat whatever they want just like that. That's why thiswith three cookbooks and other things is so great: its options for folks who could certainly use them.
Though, I'm sure that gefilte fish would be just fine to folks with diabetes, just watch out for the sodium content…
