Free Nintendo Swag

If you have a Nintendo DS or Wii, chances are you also buy games for those systems (otherwise what's the darn point of having the game system?!). Well if that's the case, you should head over to Club Nintendo, sign up for a free account, and then collect all the game cases and start looking through them. Inside each case should be a little sheet of paper with a registration code printed on the back. Enter it into your Club Nintendo account and you'll get 50 coins for each Wii game and 30 coins for each DS game. Then you can cash out the coins for free Nintendo swag or even a free DS game. My family had just enough games to earn 800 coins, so they cashed out and have a free game coming to them in the mail!

  1. Is there a way that I can register games without the little paper with the code on it? Probably not… I’m just upset because I chucked them all out before I found the coins out! :c

  2. I know this is an old thread but the only games that have valid codes are the ones produced by nintendo themselves. You also get quite a few points for adding your DSI.

  5. Hello. I absolutely LOVE your site! Awesome! Just wanted to post that this is NOT for the DS, but for the DSi. After I did all you said, it said my DS wasn’t allowed to collect coins. 🙁
    Have a blessed day.

  6. Nintendo Power Magazine! Am I the only one who remembers that? My brother used to get the magazine back in the day, when the coolest thing was rc cars and rat-tail ponytails lol

  7. Oh, I also didn’t have any problems with the site. I think it helped because we already had registered our game consoles.

  8. Like KFM said; those games are great. Haven’t tried animal crossing yet. My husband got me a DS for Christmas. I like Petz Cats. I also took upon myself to grab up the My Spanish Coach as a refresher and to expand my spanish skills. My brother said that his students in S Korea use one similiar to learn english and it has helped them alot. Plus they have ones that can teach cooking, or atleast try. I believe they coach you along through recipes. Have fun.

I don’t think Nintendo’s gonna be okay any time soon.

  10. If they like puzzle games, there are plenty of those.

Or if they wouldn’t get bored with an animal, you could get them the Petz games. And if you think they’d like it, Animal Crossing will last them darn near forever.

For adults.. Animal Crossing is still a fun one, they have crossword games, mystery solving games, and the Brain Age games. I myself really enjoyed these.

  11. If you click on the FAQ, there is a list of all the games that can be registered. It also says the games would have come with a separate card with a pin number on it. None of the ones we have are listed. BOO!!

On a separate note….can anyone recommend any good DS games? I bought my girls (10 and 6) a DS for Christmas this year and it came with two games (Playground and Kim Possible) and I also bought them Hanna Montana and Littlest Pet Shop but they are completely bored with them already. I want to get them maybe one more until the next holiday rolls around but don’t know which one. There are so many………And what is a good game for an adult? TIA!
