Free Printable Coupon Sites

Below you'll find a list of what I consider to be the best printable coupon sites. In short, you can go to any of the sites below, select the coupons you want, and print them out right at home! Many of these coupons can be printed once per computer, so if you have access to a computer & printer at home, work, and/or school…well, you get the idea 🙂

2023 Update This post was originally published in 2009, but was recently revamped with updated information. It contains all the best free grocery printable coupons without needing to download software.

LOZO – These guys burst onto the scene in the middle of the 2010s and they're still a great place for finding unique, exclusive coupons. Most coupon sources host the printable coupons on their own site, but LOZO typically partners up and directly links to the brand's website where you can either print the coupon or request it sent via the mail.

Coupons.com – They were the hands down #1 leader in printable coupons from 2005-2022. Their selection was gigantic and they updated coupons at least once a month. It wasn't atypical of me to routinely print a dozen or two coupons from them every month and regularly save $20 or more.

However, as of 2024, they've really slowed the pace of coupons. They've also heavily shifted into the mobile coupon space. There's nothing wrong with that, as money saved is still money in your pocket! But there was something nice about being able to print out coupons and carry them in your pocket when you went shopping.

I still recommend them to people looking to save money, but they're just a few steps beneath what they used to be.

Grocery Coupon Network – GCN is another veteran coupon provider still hanging in there! They excel in niche coupons for organic and vegan products, along with regional products, like Palmetto pimento cheese from the southeast. Their selection isn't as large as other sites, but they make up for it by always having exclusive savings that you won't find anywhere else.

So do you have any success stories with using printable coupons? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Why do many of these sites send you over to coupons.com when you go to print and why does coupons.com require a mobile number? It sounds like they want to sell out your mobile number or it is just a big scam to me. They can easily verify you by just sending an email to you with a link to verify just as most non scamming sites do. There is NO REASON to require a phone number.

    • Coupons.com is the leading platform for brands and retailers to offer their coupons to the public. You can use a free Google Voice number in place of your mobile.

They USED to require people to download special software just to print the coupons. The mobile number allowed them to cut that burdensome hurdle while also letting you print the coupons straight from your mobile phone with no extra software needed!

  2. I think it’s wrong to require people to sign up to get stupid emails just to be able to print coupons. I am going to set up an email just for that stuff and not have to worry about seeing unwanted newsletters and other stuff just because I want coupons. Can’t they just give the option for email?

    • You should totally make a new email just for coupons and freebies – it’s what we all do to keep the spam away from our regular account! 🙂

  3. They all link back to coupons.com, which requires a cell number from a high end service provider like verizon…no other way to verify. The phone option unless you have an old fashioned landline and even then they call back when most folks are at work and don’t leave a code.

  4. Download a mysterious software…you have to be kidding and give out my cell phone number …really!!!!! Just to get FREE coupons. And the idea is FREE so how does buying a news paper seem to be a reasonable answer to that complaint. JEEEZ Mary.

  6. These are not FREE sites if they require you to download ad app or install something on your computer that puts you at risk for viruses. Shame on you for helping to con people into using these sites! Scammer!!

  10. @Kay – Depending on which stores you shop at, you could just use a Savings Card instead of printing the coupons. You could screen shot the coupon list [the list of coupons your add to the Savings Card] so you’ll know what coupons you’ve loaded to your Savings Card…

  13. Wow, vintage 1980s coupons, awesome!

That Cool Savings site is such a bitch, I gave up after filling in over 100 circles that said NO.

  14. Do you need a laser, ink jet, or color printer to print out these coupons? I’ve always hesitated to sign up at any of these sites because I still use an old dot matrix printer. When I print out anything it looks like I used a typewriter with a dry ribbon. Stores already hassle me when I use old coupons, issued in the 1980s, with no expiration dates or UPC symbols on them. Some clerks think if the coupon can’t be scanned, it isn’t legitimate. God forbid they learn what keys to punch in to subtract 25 cents from my bill. It’s so embarassing when they have to call for a supervisor to deal with a customer like me.

  15. Fake (photocopied) internet coupons are the reason why some stores have stopped accepting printed coupons. Each printed coupon has it’s own unique number, and manufacturers refuse to reimburse stores for more than one coupon with the same number on it. This kind of fraud hurts all of us.

  16. Thanks for all the great links .. I thought I knew all the best sites but you mentioned a few I didn’t know about. I’m bummed about Shortcuts … there are no stores in my area that utilize their card. Oh well, .. can’t have it all! lol

  17. I have found that you can combine both the ecoupons with both regular coupons and printer coupons on the same product. Many of the ones available from coupons.com are also available on shortcuts.com making for double the savings.

  18. O.K., first off, often when you print a coupon from these sites, if you tap your backspace key 2 or 3 times they will print you a second coupon!! Give it a try I swear it works at coupons.com and smartsource.com.
As far as success stories, I have to travel an hour to find a grocery store that doubles coupons (yes they even double printable coupons), it is the Giant chain of stores (not to be confused with Giant Eagle) in the last 2 weeks alone I have saved $150 using coupons both printable and newspaper coupons. Yipee!!

  19. Rich, I think it’s the companies that are issuing the coupons (general mills, p&g, etc.) who stipulate to the coupon sites only to allow 1 coupon to be printed.

Jim, Walmart luckily has a corporate coupon policy. I keep a copy in my back pocket whenever I shop there.

  20. Printable coupons are great, but for those of you that haven’t been to WalMart lately, many of the stores are being hit by “fake” coupons, and will no longer accept “Internet” or printed coupons. I don’t think it’s a corporate policy; I think it’s a local store manager’s decision.

  21. Why do most, if not all, online coupon sites only let you print out 1 coupon?

If I were in a store and there was a pad of coupons, I could take as many as I needed.

If I needed more coupons from the Sunday paper, I could buy another paper or buy extra coupons from ebayers.

So, what is the reason to limit Internet coupons to 1? Couldn’t you photocopy the printed coupon to make as many as you needed?

    Just wondering.
