All magazines listed below do not have a fee with them! I omitted any offers charging processing fees and only list 100% free subscriptions below!
Free magazine subscriptions in exchange for random surveys have been a staple in the freebie scene for as long as I can remember. After signing up and completing a short survey (usually around 20 basic questions), you'll get $20 credited to your account that allows you to request most of the free magazines they offer. You can then log back in once a week, take the new survey, and add more free money to your account that can be redeemed for more free magazines or refer a few friends. All in all it takes me under 5 minutes (usually broken up during commercial breaks while watching TV) to get enough credit for the most expensive magazine offers.
For many years, RewardSurvey was one of the leading free magazine providers and … well …
It really pains me to say this, but RewardSurvey has gone so far downhill over the past few years. From 2015-2021, they were a freebie juggernaut. Each month, you could reliable get up to two dozen high quality free magazine subscriptions from titles such as Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Rolling Stone, People, US Weekly, and many more.
But as of 2023? This is what we're offered.
September 2023 RewardSurvey Free Magazines
- Cigar Aficionado (6 issues)
- Florida Trend (12 issues)
- Wine Spectator (15 issues)
- Whisky Advocate (4 issues)
See what I mean? They currently offer less than half a dozen true freebies! While these are nice to those interested, it's a far cry from how many great freebies RewardSurvey used to offer.
I have been on Reward Survey for years. I did a survey and now it won’t let me go any further. Don’t show me my points or the magazines. Just say “You have already taken this survey”. This was 3 days ago, and I still can’t get on.
Won’t take my original password and got the link to set a new password, but keeps telling my new password is invalid
I’ve been using your site for years Goob! I get People, Good Housekeeping, Woman’s Day, Sports Illustrated, Home Made Simple, Country Living and a host of other free subscriptions. I haven’t paid for a magazine in years thanks to you!
I just completed a survey worth $30.00 and did not receive credit! The reward survey site timed out on me upon completion. This has not ever happened to me before.
I’ve been doing surveys off and on from this site and receiving magazines for free for at least 2 or 3 yrs now. I mostly get them for my neighbors to have something to read, being we live in low-income housing. I need to remember to do a new survey each week. I love that there is no strings attached, no bills in the mail. You can pay to renew a sub if you want, but why do that when you can keep receiving them for free? Also, you can send free gift subs to friends and family. With the holidays coming up pretty fast, this is a good time for doing just that.
I still have over $1500 in credit banked because many of their magazines are now only available for first time subscribers.
Heather, use a new name / email 🙂
it looks like they may be out of business….i have > $600 of credits but orders for magazines results in same message see below: have tried 6 orders different times over the last couple of months:
We’re Sorry
Your order cannot be processed at this time. If you need additional information please contact customer service at [email protected].
have contacted the email address bot to no avail
The site wasn’t working for me last month either, which is why I didn’t post it. Looks like they’re back up though! I looked further into their company and it looks like their parent company also runs Mercury Magazines, which is still up as well.
I’ve gotten 4 magazines so far — Inc., Forbes, Self, and Shape. So far so good.
My survey was about the Olympics, not cats…. so at least it felt more enjoyable, plus it was shorter than some of the past surveys I’ve done. I even discovered I had a $20 credit already waiting for me, so I could get a $30 magazine. It’s definitely worth doing the survey even if they don’t have a magazine that you want right now.
The questions were all about cats, and as I don’t have cats, the only one I had an answer for was how much do I donate to animal causes. None of the magazines I qualified for were of interest to me, so I’m hoping I can save the $20 to use another time.
Call me at 256-874-1077 for specials
Their options change fairly frequently, so it is a good idea to check in every time you do a survey to see what they have at that time. I’ve been a member a long time, gotten lots of different magazines, and currently have nearly $1500 in credit banked.
Whoa–they’re actually offering ESPN the Magazine (at the time of this post)! Happy dance, happy dance!! Ooh–I hope the guys down at the plant don’t read that “Happy dance” part.
Rewards/Gold password???
Leave it blank!
I wish they would have less digital mags or at least change the digital ones to physical ones. I also would like them to change their policy of not letting anyone but new subscribers subscribe to some of the magazines like Rollin stone and US. I have some credit built up too.
Yeah I agree the digital ones are a tad lame.
I thought this post was a signal that ESPN Magazine was being offered–not the case. I then heard a bell and started to salivate. I’m going to lie down, now.
I get so many magazines a month i can’t give them away now! What a waste! At least a dozen a month between this site & others, but I read & share them all!!
I would neither call an International number like that NOR call someone I do not know. Sorry.
Close the pop up.
ok so what am I doing wrong then? After I take check on the “offer” I want to accept it takes me to the next stage which tells me I can choose up to 6 more magazines at $2.00 each, but won’t let me past there without entering credit card information, even though I haven’t checked that I wanted any of the $2.00 subscriptions. There is no “not interested” option
Close the pop up. They usually have a teeny tiny x in the corner.
They will also ask you to sign up for a bunch of offers (usually) or business publications (or both). You can just hit no on all of it and you will still get your magazines.
I get so many magazines through them I don’t have to buy perfume anymore. I just use the perfume samples from the mags.
Me too. it’s a good way to try before you buy! Some are hideous!
do we really need to confirm anything through a real email account to receive the magazine??
I believe they ask you to confirm your email when you first sign up, but I believe that’s it.
I have been a member for a long time. Lately they have been offering more and more digital magazines and less new print magazines. You can occasionally do well here, I got a New Yorker sub. I also have $651 in credit doing nothing at all.
holy moly, $651 in credit?!
They put out one survey every week or so. All surveys are worth about $20 to $30. Do that for a month and you are talking around $80 a month. Do that for several months and you get the kind of balance I have.
I have $761…haha…I don’t want any more digital. All the photography mags I get are digital…it’s a pain reading them like that on a pc!
