This freebie from 2013 is no longer available, however Rewards Survey sometimes offers free WSJ subscriptions! I keep a running, updated list of their offers on that link.
It's during prolonged freebie droughts that I rediscover my love for the classic free Wall Street Journal newspaper subscription offer from RewardsGold. Whenever it's noon and I haven't found a single freebie, I like to spread a WSJ on my desk and put on a fake pair of reading glasses. I figure that way, at the very least, my dogs will look at me with respect and think “now there's a guy who knows what he's doing!”
This offer is for a free 26-week subscription. If you currently have a free (or paid) subscription, it's still worth requesting this since it should still add 26 free weeks to your account.
If you're not interested in reading them, these are also great for starting impromptu fires, recycling, and learning you have a mouse problem after discovering a shredded pile in your garage.

I know a couple of these sites that grill with you with many questions (just use an email account specifically for this stuff because you will get spammed). It takes a month or two, but I have never paid for mag or newspaper subscriptions for years.
it only offer me Forbes magazine and some crappy ebook
I wish you’d stop sending this paper to me!
Lorry, contact WSJ, not me. I don’t send anything out.
Has anyone ever endured this entire drilling & received the subscription? I usually givwe up after the second page of repeated questioning.
I have, got the paper for a whole year. Coupons in the weekend paper as well. I have also gotten Maxim and Playboy from that website.
Do it all the time with different magazines offered and WSJ. Probably going on two years of just the WSJ alone.
Sorry ,my bad i read wrong ..it was just an offer by wall street journal subscriber…they were asking me to subscribe…the confusion is cleared…
I Subsribe the free Wall Street Journal newspaper ,as you said its free and everyday the newspaper on the door, but today i got some bill whixh is about 495$…i am scared ,my brain just stopped for a while ,and its shock to,though it was free…please help me…
Free Wall Street Journal newspaper subscription? So what’s the catch?
None! The only thing you have to do is take a short quiz. Should be about 5 questions and maybe 90 seconds long. They’re so random too. The last one I took was my cereal eating habits…
Worked for me.. I stopped after like the first survey.
This is a crock! How many freakin “survey” pages do you have to go through to finish?
NEVER. AGAIN. GOOB. NEVER AGAIN!!! EVIL!!! *makes sign of the [email protected]*
The question is not how to start, but how to stop the WSJ. I signed up for the 4 week samples a few months and I’m still receiving mine. Call me informed!
There are sometimes coupons (SS & RP) included.
I’m still waiting for mine and this was one of the first things I signed up for in March
Not sure if I did it right, I filled out my address and then I got a box that I would get the subscription in 6 weeks. Usually you have to tell them about your favorite wallet, restaurant, etc. Not that I am complaining. 🙂
Thanks for the help! I’ll sign up anyways… it’s FREE!
The Wall Street Journal DOES have coupons. On Saturday (occasionally Friday) you can find the SmartSource insert that shows up in the regular Sunday newspaper.
It didn’t ask me to take a survey, but it said my subscription will start in 6 to 8 weeks. Great! I’ve always wanted to get WSJ. Thanks!
The WSJ doesn’t have any coupons.
Does this paper have coupons in it?
Yay! My mom’s free subscription just ran out, so worked out perfect. I have so much fun filling out the questionaire, my favorite restaurant for a business meeting this time is McDonalds. Thanks Goob!
Thanks signed up 🙂
I renewed my subscription by signing up for this offer way before my first subscription ended. I think they’re both for thirty-one weeks, and the first one should be ending at the top of 2012. Getting two copies of the same paper is annoying, though. I forgot when the first one started, lol.
My dad loves the Wall Street Journal, and his latest free subscription ended. I’m glad they have this again! Thank you 😛
i wish that rewardsgold would come out with new offers!
i never got mine did anyone else
Yay- I love the WSJ. Have been getting it for about 6mos, and due for a renewal. You ‘da best GOOB— (((hugs))) !!
Great deal, thanks!
My hubby got this last time. I don’t care much for the articles, but it’s nice to get the coupons on Saturday 🙂
Signed up twice….did ALL the reviews…..Once I got 2 days worth. That was it. So much for that!!!
Ah well……..Ya win some….. ya lose some : )
Got it last time I signed up ! 🙂 I wonder if they would let me have two subscriptions? OH and it has been coming with a Smartsource insert in MN!
I signed up before and never got the paper. I tried again , lets see if it comes this time
Thanks for posting this freebie. You know between the last two that you have posted, I will have gotten the Journal for almost a year without paying for it. I do enjoy reading it, but starting bonfires and recycling are also great. I also give it to people at work after I am done reading it because they enjoy reading also. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
I looked at the offer and it sounds like 3500 points is needed to get the subscription — is that right?
I never got the last one I signed up for!
They’re also good for reading.
Is the one year free subscription really free? Because I don’t want to end up paying for it at the end. I want to know of if there’s any catch.
Nope, not a scam. Just snagged it. I find if you fill in their questions with humor, it takes away the laborious task.
WSJ 26 weeks, I’m good.
NOT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They ask you to fill out a couple surveys- one pertaining to restaurants, the other, your preference in wallets. I know it may seem silly/stupid but, these freebies are made possible by diff companies asking for certain info on a specific brand/preference or consumer habits. The company asking for the info from consumers’ pay for your subscription from whatever newspaper/magazine you’re getting- the subscription isn’t paid for by the newspaper or the magazine .
If you have the time to do the surveys then it’s worth it. If not, then don’t.
All I know is I got mine for my Daddy.
Thanks Goob!! The survey form went smoothly for me. And this is no scam!! I have received magazines in the past from them.
this is not a scam…I get stuff from them, b/c of Goob!
ty Goob 🙂
My husband works for Wells Fargo, and really can use this for his job! This was a great X-Mas present for him
This worked really well for me although it takes a few minutes but the time is worth it to get the WSJ! I have received at least 4 magazines from this site. PS – if it says you don’t have enough words just go back to where the cursor is blinking and add some more words…it will work.
This is not a scam I get all my mag subscriptions through this. I was able to get this offer after completing 2 surveys. 🙂
Took some effort and time but I was able to get the subscription. I’ve received subscriptions from RewardsGold in the past so I know it’s not a scam. Thanks!
I ended up filling out two separate surveys, but snagged the 26 week subscription to WSJ.
Not a scam. They do ask for some strange info (what does my wallet have to do with the WSJ?) but I get at least 8 different mags from surveys I have filled out from Rewardsgold.
I was signing up, and doing the restaurant reviews, and kept getting the message I had entered too few or too many words. I hadn’t, and updated the page and kept getting the message so I gave up.
I couldn’t disagree more. I’d say at least 50% of the magazines I get in my weekly Freebies Received posts came from RewardsGold. If you notice, the past three weeks have all had WSJ editions as well.
This is a scam. Don’t waste your time.
