Full Birthday Freebies List!
🎂 Don't miss all the free stuff on your birthday available each year!

The old Red Lobster birthday freebie was kind of lame. $5 off two adult entrees? What about those of us who are single or misanthropic? Sometimes I go out to eat with people and all they want to do is talk. I know! I don't get it either.

That's why the new and latest Red Lobster offer is great – you get to choose from free dessert, signature shrimp cocktail, or bowl of any soup! You gotta love a company that codifies their free birthday food into their FAQs!

  3. We are actually sitting in RL right now for my husband’s birthday dinner. Our RL recently remodeled and they sent out cards for $10 off two entrees and tonight’s the last night of their 4 course meals for $15. So I’m glad to see we got a better deal than the birthday offer. $5 wouldn’t have been enough to get us in there. $10 off $30 was certainly more appealing though!

  5. Complain..Complain…Complain. Don’t eat there if you don’t want to. $5 is better than nothing. Coupons can always be used fora single dinner or lunch as well for half the face value. IF you ask NICELY, you may even get the full face value for 1 person. The portions haven’t changed in years, in spite of what you might think. RL had a price change of some items a few months back & it was the first price hike in a couple of years. Most items went up very little (50c to 75 cents). EVERYTHING is going up. If it’s cheap you want, go to MickeyD’s or Burger King where you can Have It Your Way! And if you’re going to leave less than 15% tip on the TOTAL BILL (BEFORE COUPONS or GIFT CARDS that were prob gifts anyhow) then eat fast food or cook at home. We work HARD for every $ we get & yes, you’re right, it IS my choice of occupation to be a waiter, but I am a SERVER, not a SERVANT!

  6. If you sign up for their emails, you’ll get $5 off 2 adult entree coupons every so often. I haven’t been keeping exact figures, but I get about one email a month and I probably get the $5 coupon every other email. So, the birthday bit is no big deal.

  7. My hubby and I go to Red Lobster every year for our birthday/anniversary and for Valentine’s. So this offer saves us $5 off our bill. If it’s a place you use anyway, it is a good deal.

  8. lame! I consider any offer that makes me take somebody else with me to eat for full cost, is not really a free deal. (Does everyone have a buddy? No) I complained one time to one of these free birthday deals that said ‘buy one, get one free’ and they apologized and sent me a gift card for $4. which was enough for me to get one of their ice cream cones.

  9. Meh. I wouldn’t consider this a freebie considering that you still have to pay (and frankly, $5 off two entrees isn’t that great a deal). Too bad, too, because my birthday is coming up on the 30th and celebrating 27 years on this planet with a lobster dinner would be most spectacular. 🙂

  10. When you print out their regular coupons it says that you can use $4 off two dinner entrees, and in the fine print it says that you can use it for $2 off one as well. Maybe it’s the same with this one?

  11. Lame is right, that’s no better than their coupons in my newspaper insert. C’mon Red Lobster, you can do better than that!
