Free Comic Book Day (5/1)
Saturday, May 1, not only has a ton of free kids events, but it also happens to be Free Comic Book Day. There’s a store locator on the site and here’s a list of all the comics available.
It’s been years since I’ve read comic books. I even tried drawing my own once. It didn’t have many super heroes, but starred a kid who refused to eat his vegetables, couldn’t talk to girls, and looked ridiculous in his baggy jeans. I guess it wasn’t so much a comic book as a journal. No wonder Marvel never took me seriously.

Thanks for the heads up on the comics! I got mine at all the stores and then took them by the hospital for the Pediatric Unit.
Took My kids, they had no idea what a comic book was.
3 Free plus they gave us a bunch that were left over from last year.
My kids love them.
