This lawsuit was started because plaintiffs alleged that Quincy Bioscience, LLC advertised benefits of Prevagen relating to memory improvement that were false and misleading. Plaintiffs maintain that Defendant’s actions constitute violations of Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Fla. Stat. §§ 501.201-501.2101, as well as other laws.

Cruise Line Spam Calls Class Action Settlement

Cruise Lines Spam Calls Class Action Settlement

Cruise Line Spam Calls Class Action Settlement

Raise your hand if you've received a 5000% increase in spam calls lately! 🙋‍♂️ I seem to get at least one call a day and more like 5 calls on bad days. Well, there's a new cruise line spam calls class action settlement where you can check if your home or cell numbers were called by RMG Inc. from July 2009 to March 2014. If so, you're eligible for a class action check of $300 per call, up to $900!

If you received a pre-recorded call from a travel agency called Resort Marketing Group, Inc. offering a free cruise with Carnival, Royal Caribbean or Norwegian Cruise Lines on your residential or cellular telephone line, during the period between July of 2009 and March of 2014, you may be a Settlement Class Member. Please enter the phone number you would like to check for eligibility in the box below. If your number is included in the settlement you will then be directed as to how to file a claim.

Check if Your Number is Listed

  1. Go to this site.
  2. Select the 3rd option.
  3. Enter your phone number with the area code.

If your number is found, you'll need to send in your claim form no later than November 3, 2017.

I'm not gonna lie, I almost didn't post this on HIF. None of my own phone numbers, nor any of my family's, appeared on the list despite all of us getting multiple types of calls like these per week. However, two of my friends both found their numbers on the list while a third friend found his dad's number on the list.

So heck, enter all your friend's and family's numbers! Who knows, you might be able to tell somebody close to you that they're about to get $900. It felt amazing being the bearer of great news to some of my friends today.

And who knows, if they're really good friends, they might send ya a $50 thank you for giving them a heads up 😀

EDIT: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated that you could tell whether you'd receive $300, $600, or $900. I was wrong on that, all you can tell is if your number is on the list. If it is, you'll find out after you file a claim how much money you'll get.

I'd like to point out that while I'm no lawyer 💼, I do know that by submitting one of these claims, you ARE using your signature under penalty of perjury. That means you don't want to lie! However, if you actually bought some of these items, feel free swearing to it and file a claim to get your rebate check!
