Birthday Freebies & Free Stuff from 300+ Companies in 2026 🎂 🎉

If you've ever wondered “where can I get free food on my birthday” then you've come to the right place!

Below you'll find over 300+ direct links to verified free birthday stuff from all sorts of restaurants, stores, and companies! These birthday rewards are available to all US residents and continue year after year! Seriously, I started this list in 2006 and since then I can only think of two companies who stopped their free birthday offers.

And it's easy to see why – because people love free stuff on their birthday!

As our Basic Freebie Tips suggest, I strongly recommend creating a freebie email address specifically for your birthday offers. To get the free food and coupons listed below, you'll need to join each company's newsletter or rewards program. You just have to do this once and then each year after that you can log into your email around your birthday and check out all your freebies 😁 🎂 🎁

The table below has its own search bar right above it. You can also filter the results by types of birthday offers, specific free birthday food, and even sort by state! With this new feature, we're adding TONS of regional restaurants that offer all sorts of fantastic free birthday meals!

I've also ranked the top 25 best birthday freebies if you're overwhelmed by the massive list below!

BONUS FREEBIE!

Many of these offers not only send you a free coupon on your birthday, but will also send you a coupon the very day you sign up for the club AND at every one year anniversary of you signing up. Throw in all the free coupons they send at your birthday and you can get multiple meals a year for free 🙂

Many of these birthday deals and coupons are via e-mail, so sign up in advance to your birthday. In fact, for that reason alone, I strongly suggest creating a new gmail account for these birthday freebies. Signing up for these offers requires you to join most company's newsletters. I have joined almost every offer below (for science!) and simply log into the gmail account on the first day of my birthday month and check out all the free offers that have rolled in.

And remember, all offers are subject to location participation. So if you're standing in the middle of Arby's screaming for a free milkshake and they aren't budging, don't blame me!

  1. I really appreciate how detailed and well-organized this guide is, especially with the filters, state-based sorting, and tips about using a separate email for birthday rewards. Having 300+ verified birthday freebies in one place saves so much time and makes planning birthday treats super easy. The bonus tip about signup and anniversary coupons is also a great touch.

  9. Unless Alhambra is still available in the Jacksonville FL version, I’ll really miss seeing a play or musical and eating a fantastic meal. The deal was free on your birthday and the deal was free for 2nd admission. 4 of us would go. The birthday person was free and the other 3 of us split the $ cost. I am an older woman so I got my birthday free. The other 3 were, older, as well. This was awhile ago and we may not be able to afford it at today’s price. We (the same 4 women) had 2 books and ate out every Friday. We always split the $ cost. It was a lot of fun! Thanks to the Entertainment Book!

  15. WOW!!!! THANK YOU – THANK YOU for all of your very hard work and time putting this l-o-n-g list together. Can’t even imagine how much time and work went into it. We realize there may be some mistakes or mis-understanding on some items, so we will check the ones we want to use from your list and call the local establishments about it. There is no reason whatsoever to blame you for that. That is completely stupid and ignorant of anyone who does do that. We definitely appreciate the hard work and time you put into this list. It answers all of our questions initially and all we have to do is to follow up on our own to confirm the offers with our locals here in BIG Texas.

Apparently you do not have a Nothing Bundt Cakes in your neighborhood. They are pretty good.

A bundtlet is a personal size bundt cake, about 6 inches in diameter. They come in a variety of flavors. In the place near me, they feature a flavor of the day and have a free sample of that flavor to help you choose.

Bath and body works might give a free signature item, if not then some good coupons. Redbox might give you a free movie rental for a night. My hair stylist used to send a card to her clients in the mail for 20% off so maybe ask around about that.

Might all be regional, but: Gigi’s Cupcakes=free cupcake, Goodrich Movie Theaters=free medium popcorn or drink, and Hoosier Lottery=free lottery ticket (last year I won $25!). Supposedly Gordman’s offers $5 coupon but I couldn’t figure out where to sign up and add my DOB. Kohl’s and DSW=$5, Bare Minerals Boutique=free item (currently free eye shadow), and Godiva=$10.

  27. I have been signed up on over 100 companies websites for birthday/anniversary freebies just in the last few months I have been getting emails that a lot of them are changing their birthday policies. a whole lot of them are now going to just use the phone app to get freebies instead of emails due to fraudulant coupons. all companies require you to either sign up on their website or app in order to get freebies. DO NOT EXPECT TO JUST WALK IN TO A PLACE AND SAY IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY AND EXPECT A FREEBIE…..and also most are requiring your photo ID (drivers license) when you come in to get your freebie with your coupon or app…..sign up in advance to give them time to process your info to get your birthday/anniversary freebie~

  31. Thanks for compiling.

One thing I definitely learned from this is that the world has certainly run out of clever restaurant names.

There should be a forum of witty persons who wit-check your business name.

    “Denied. Please try again”.

  33. Olive Garden hasn’t had free dessert for 10 years they charge for the dessert on the check… which most people don’t even look at and just pay.

    • Me and my husband got free dessert this year at olive garden. No charge on receipt. 🙂 i wonder if only certain restaurants give the free dessert.

      Reply
      • Hmm… I doubt its only certain ones as they aren’t a franchise within the U.S. More like ‘inattentive waitress and patron’ is the culprit. Or perhaps, an overly-attentive manager of questionable moral!

      • Are you in the twilight zone? “The states” is referring to the United States!!! It’s how everyone outside the US refers to America.

        Reply
        • Tim that was unnecessary rudeness and entirely incorrect. No need to insult people. And no, it’s not “how everyone outside of the US refers to America.” Most people outside of America call it “America.” Only a few rare British folk call it “the states.” Pure logic tells you that “everyone outside of the US” wouldn’t call it “the states” because most people outside of the US don’t speak English.

          Reply
          • Tbh, you’re being unnecessarily rude. Are you a troll? It seems like it since what you’re saying is completely false. “The States” is what most people in Canada and Mexico call America. It’s common knowledge that “the States” is a term for America.

Also, yes a lot of people outside of the US speak English. It’s the SECOND most common language after Chinese. So please, tell me again how America is the only English speaking country?

  38. ATTN, UPDATE, Just got off of the phone with Steak $ Shake, she actually got kind of huffy and said ” We dont give you ANYTHING free for your B/ DAY..

    Reply
  39. NOT SO FAST.. I tried a few of these places last year, and they will NOT honor your b/ day,, BECAUSE they are franchised owned and those CHEAP ASS OWNERS wont give you ANYTHING free.Last year, it said Ponderosa will give you a free steak dinner,, tried that, they said no way. So just being curious, tried Arbys, and Auntie Anne’s, and Steak $ Shake,,, NO NO, and NO. I think the corp. offices should tell the Franchise owners,,”Look, we are still the boss, i want you to honor coupons etc,, Those places that i tried were all in the same mall,so i didnt have to do any traveling., You might want to call first if you decide to try your luck

    Reply
    • Dude, you have to register for the loyalty programs. You can’t just walk into a place you’ve never been to before and ask them for a free dinner. Businesses give away free stuff to loyal customers. Most free stuff is throuuh loyalty programs. We’re the only country with businesses that do this, so be happy about and don’t act so stingy. We’re one of the few countries where businesses offer coupons for god sakes.

      Reply
    • Ponderosa has never EVER offered a free Steak dinner . I don’t know where you think you saw that at. They have always did Buy one get one and I have been using them for at least 3 years. In 3 different cities. I have also done Arbys and Steak and Shake . So maybe it is like this other person said and you just tried to walk in and get free food. lol

  40. If you utilize your filters (not just spam) on your email account or incorporate a filtering app/service, the marketing emails will go somewhere else other than your main inbox. Then you can pull them up at your leisure with keywords like “birthday” and “coupon”. Just something I have learned.

  41. Morton’s of Chicago (Landry’s) offers a points card (Landry’s Select) for $25.00. You get that 25 back as a credit when you register your card, plus you get another $25.00 credit on your card during your birthday month. You also earn points by using it at Landry restaurants (lots of them, including Bubba Gumps, McCormick & Schmick’s, Rainforest Grille, etc.) It’s a pretty good deal.

  44. I have heard by mouth that some hotels/motels/resorts will offer a free night stay on your birthday, but I can’t seem to find which one. Or could be Casino resorts. I actually live in/around Chandler AZ, and currently Residentially Challenged (Homeless if you must)!! So a free day of food, plus a free night somewhere, would be AMAZING!
