Freebies and free stuff

I know that Amazon.com has a ton of music for free, but seeing most of those are single song downloads or mixtapes of some sort, we usually don’t post them because people find those. I like to only post albums or coherent artistic works by a band.

I guess you could say that this free Sister Hazel album isn’t really a solid album but is more of a “lesser hits” collection. Still, its nice to know that a band like them is giving away a full album of songs (and then some) for free. And that? Counts well enough for me…

I’ve been trying to do a lot more reading recently. Granted I haven’t gotten to the books I really want to, but I’ve been reading a lot more product information guides and zone-o-grams for the holiday season, but I can only hope to get back to real books soon so that I can get back to writing…

My little nephew is 9 months old and I feel distant from him. Sure, he’s states upon states away, and whenever I call to talk to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, he can’t hold the phone to talk to me, but still.

Maybe if I get this free subscription to Babytalk magazine, I’ll learn his language? I mean, it is called “baby talk,” so it’d be like getting “cat talk” or “dog talk”, right?

As if it wasn’t enough that I was finding enough regular free music, here’s now a freebie for a free Halloween club mix. If you’d just ask me, I think I’ll keep Thriller on repeat this year. Vincent Price just works for me…

I guess I’ve decided to be more sadistic since, and I’m up to double that… See what searching for freebies does to you?

Its hard to believe that I got a solid 6 hours of sleep like normal, and yet, I was up till 4am. A midnight runner. Ha! Who’s every heard of such a thing?

Coupons are becoming very mainstream these days, and I’m not so sure how I feel about that. I think it’s great that so many people are benefitting from using coupons, but now when I go to the grocery store, I feel more like the average shopper and less like a member of the super-secret coupon club. At least I have my Emo Squirrel Club to fall back on. I’d tell you more about it, but it’s top secret. I can share these coupons with you, though.
