I remember signing up for something similar back when I was a junior in high school in the late 90s and let's just say that I soon got on a first name basis with the local Marine recruiter. He used to call all the time – it was like I had a new friend! Then one afternoon, I was playing Final Fantasy VII and defeated a monster that had been giving me trouble. I was in such a gay mood after my huge victory, that I couldn't help but tell everybody how gay I was right then! Coincidentally, that evening was the last time I ever talked to him, for he mysteriously stopped calling after that… I've never figured out why…
But thankfully we've come a long way since then and no longer have to worry about this nonsense!

If you are currently talking to a recruiter and then you sign up for the free stuff you will not receive it, requests are sent to your local office (meaning friendly Ssgt. Joe sees that you are in it for free stuff and thinks he already has you by the balls so no, he will not send you it). Recruiters are assholes looking for a commission, if you are decided on joining do the free offers before if you expect any free stuff, if it is too late use an alias, Jake Stone could be Jack Stein and since they don’t know him he has no problems getting his t-shirt, but they will call whichever number you give excessively looking for him, when I was 17 my mother asked me why she kept getting calls for “Rusty”.
