I'm happy to announce that we'll get to continue our free Michaels Kids Club events in 2026. These are in-store sessions where kids get to make customized art projects to then take home and keep. All supplies are included too!
One change I'm seeing for this year is that some events are on Sundays, while others fall on Saturdays.
These events typically are offered in most locations, but some stores can be hit or miss. The events also typically run from 2pm-4pm in my area, but each store is free to set their own hours, so please be sure to double check with your local listing.
The easiest way to see if your local store is participating is to use this link of in-store events and then select your local store from the left sidebar. Here's what I'm seeing on most upcoming schedules:
- Saturday, May 9, 2026 – Kids Club: Mother's Day Flower Stamped Card and Thumbprint Necklace – Make you mom feel special with a handmade flower stamped card, and a thumbprint necklace gift just for her.
- Saturday, May 23, 2026 – Kids Club: DIY Kid's Bookmarks – Kick off your summer reading with making your very own DIY bookmark.
There doesn't seem to be any registration required, so just be sure to set an alarm and show up whenever your local store is hosting their events.
