I'm happy to announce that we'll get to continue our free Michaels Kids Club events in 2026. These are in-store sessions where kids get to make customized art projects to then take home and keep. All supplies are included too!
One change I'm seeing for this year is that some events are on Sundays, while others fall on Saturdays.
These events typically are offered in most locations, but some stores can be hit or miss. The events also typically run from 2pm-4pm in my area, but each store is free to set their own hours, so please be sure to double check with your local listing.
The easiest way to see if your local store is participating is to use this link of in-store events and then select your local store from the left sidebar. Here's what I'm seeing on most upcoming schedules:
- Saturday, June 13, 2026 – Kids Club: Father's Day Card – Celebrate dad by making him a special handmade card to gift him on Father's Day.
- Saturday, June 27, 2026 – Kids Club: Hamm Piggy Bank – Make your very own Hamm Piggy Bank to celebrate the release of Toy Story 5.
- Sunday, July 05, 2026 – Fan Fanatics Banners and Bracelets – Make a free fan bracelet made with your favorite sport's team's colors
- Saturday, July 11, 2026 – Camp Creatoloy – Wood Space Pals – Come in-store for a fun free event! We are partnering with Learn with Michaels our online video on demand and live classes program to promote Camp Creatology with a fun event. Make free wooden space pals, and then go watch the rest of Camp online at Michaels.com
- Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Kids Club: Summer Bracelets – Make a free bracelet with a whimsical summer design.
There doesn't seem to be any registration required, so just be sure to set an alarm and show up whenever your local store is hosting their events.
