All About Getting Free Stickers Online
Stickers are a great, easy way to decorate and spruce up your space. They're even better when you get them for free! That's why I created this list of places where you can find them without any money or payment necessary.
To get some cool free stickers, you'll need to complete whatever the company has set as their requirements. That could be as simple as filling out a form or sending them an email. About 90% of the time, you'll get the sticker in the mail in about 4-8 weeks.
Other times, they may not be sent or they could even get lost in the mail. In some cases, the signup form could be a phishing attempt. That’s why my list only includes genuine offers that I have personally, manually verified without using AI. This guarantees you will easily find a whole lot of worthwhile stickers that don't waste your time.
How Do I Get Free Stickers?
Learning how to get free stickers in the mail honestly couldn't be easier – we post hundreds of offers each year! The rules will vary for each one, but most of the time companies only want you to fill out a form on their website. You'll be asked to give your name, mailing address, and usually an email and phone number. Then you'll get something sent to you in the physical mail, which makes checking the mailbox fun again just like when you were a kid.
Every so often, you'll need to join a newsletter or follow a company on social media. And lastly, some companies will only send stickers if you mail them a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE – more on that below). These are the rarest type of offers and while we normally only post 100% free offers here, there's occasionally a SASE offer that's too good to pass up.
No matter what, I always list the rules for all offers posted. That way, you never have to wonder what's needed or required from you.
How Do I Stay Safe Requesting Stickers?
All stickers posted on this site are 100% verified by a human (that's me, hello! 👋) without any reliance on what other websites claim or AI. All spam & scam offers are filtered out and never posted to our list.
That said, I strongly suggest you create a separate “freebie email” to give out so that your main inbox doesn't get spammed. You can also get a working phone number from Google Voice so you aren't overwhelmed with spam texts.
Then sit back and wait for the freebies to arrive in your mailbox within a few weeks!
Why Do Companies Give Away Stickers?
Stickers are one of the best items to give away as a promotional item lot of reasons. Companies that send stickers will do so because:
- They're affordable to make! Thousands of stickers cost a fraction compared to more expensive items like shirts, pens, mugs, etc
- They're cheap to send in the mail. All companies have to pay are for the lowest possible shipping fee from the USPS.
- People love collecting them.
- They act as free advertising for the company. If you slap a sticker on your water bottle, then it acts as cheap promotion every time you take it to the gym, work, or class.
As you can see, stickers are one of the only win, win, win, win products around when it comes to swag.
What Are the Most Common Types of Free Sticker Offers?
Free sticker offers come in a variety of flavors, but most of them fall under these four categories:
- Company swag, such as logos, catchphrases, or promotions.
- Advocacy stickers, often to promote a goal, commitment, or agenda.
- Political stickers, most frequently given away in the months leading up to elections. Since they're often limited, these sometimes turn into collectors items
- Goofy, funny stickers meant for nothing more than entertainment.
I would say those categories cover the vast majority of them.
How Long Do Free Sticker Offers Last?
Each brand that gives free stickers determines the time limit before an offer expires, so it's hard to say. Sometimes a brand only prints a certain number of stickers and gives them away for however long supply remains.
Other times, the stickers will be printed on demand, so signups can stay open for weeks or months at a time.
So it's really a case by case basis. Some of them may expire in as little as 24 hours while others stay active for multiple years. There are literally some stickers listed above that have been active since the mid-2000s!
Since the availability widely varies, I suggest requesting a sticker ASAP when you see something you want.
Do You Have to Pay for Shipping?
While some brands charge a shipping fee, you won't have to worry about that because we filed those offers out and do not post them to our free stickers list. We don't think you should have to pay for shipping any stickers, so we simply don't add them to the list.
That said, there are some stickers that require a SASE, which I guess you could consider a form of payment since you have to use two of your own envelops and stamps.
What Is SASE?
SASE is an abbreviation that stands for “self-addressed stamped envelope.” These are offers where you put your own address on an envelope (self-addressed) and then place a stamp on it. Then you take that SASE and mail it inside of a second envelope to the company. They will open the second envelope, take out your SASE inside, and then mail it back to you with some of their free stickers inside.
If you do a SASE offer, make sure you don't seal the SASE! You just want to put your mailing address on the outside and a stamp on it. Leaving it unsealed allows the brand to place the stickers inside so they can send them back to you.
What Countries Are Able to Get Free Stickers?
We are a US-centric site, so all of the stickers posted are meant for Americans. Any offer ever posted to this site – not just stickers but all of our freebies – is personally vetted by myself. Since I live in America, the only offers I can sign up for and validate are American freebies.
However, I know many other countries have companies that send them out – stickers are universal! The best way to start finding those companies is to Google “free stickers in [YOUR COUNTRY]” and starting with the first few lists you find.
Additionally, a lot of brands will post their sticker announcements on social media, like Twitter or Instagram. So you can try searching for #freestickers and #YOURCOUNTRY on social media to see what's recently been posted.
