Free Professional Sports Kids Clubs

Since the dawn of HIF, major sports teams and their affiliates have offered free kids clubs. These offers are continually changing, but I have recently gone through and updated every single major sports team in the list below! I'll continue updating this post going forward as new kids kits are released or updated.

So what do you get with a free kids club? Well, that depends on the team! The most common freebie are fan badges, lanyards, and draw string backpacks. However, some teams offer free tickets to games! How cool is that?!

Paid kids clubs are sadly more plentiful. While some are insanely expensive, I noticed quite a few in the $20-$30 range that came with nice swag and multiple tickets to games. Depending on your family plans to attend game, some of these look to be decent offers where you can save some money with the little ones.

Finally, I've included all the dud teams as well, who offer no free or paid kids club. I've also included instructions on where to look for possible new clubs, since these change with each sports new season!

As always, please share in the comments if you find any new or altered sports kids clubs!

This list was most recently updated in April 2026, which means all the MLB and MiLB offers are most accurate. NFL information typically comes out in September and then NHL & NBA information usually comes out in October. So check back later in the year for any non-baseball kids clubs.

Free Baseball Kids Clubs ⚾

Professional MLB teams are tied for the most free kids clubs (13) out of 30 teams. That's 43% of teams offering offering freebies! They also lead the way in paid kids clubs at 13, leaving only 4 professional baseball teams offering no kids club whatsoever.

One nice thing I noticed is that every single 2025 free kids club was brought back in 2026! Sometimes we have teams cut costs and occasionally downgrade their freebie offerings, but that didn't happen this year. So hats off to all the organizations who continued to reward their youngest fans with some free offerings.

  • Arizona Diamondbacks
  • Fans ages 15 and younger are eligible for this kids club. In addition to a membership card, you win up to 10 prizes for each game you attend, like sunglasses, a bracelet, Baxter shoulder magnet, Baxter hat, and more. Kids also received one free Sunday ticket with the purchase of a paid adult ticket at Chase Field this season!

  • Atlanta Braves
  • This free club is for Braves fans ages 14 and under. This year they get access to Kids Club Days, special ticket offers, and free in-park kiosk giveaways. There's also a paid, upgraded club available with more perks.

  • Baltimore Orioles
  • While their kids club is paid-only, the Orioles have brought back Kids Cheer Free. This popular program allows fans aged nine and younger to attend games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards free of charge. For each regularly-priced individual game Upper Deck ticket purchased, adults can add up to two additional free Upper Deck tickets.

  • Boston Red Sox
  • Children 14 and under are not only eligible for their free Kid Nation, but all 2025 memberships are automatically rolled over to 2026. Kids get a free lanyard & member card, plus one free ticket per member (up to four members) with the purchase of an adult ticket! They also have opportunities for digital badges and other rewards.

  • Chicago White Six
  • I first wrote about the free White Sox kids club back in 2009 and I love to see they're still going strong! This year, during your first home game of the season, visit the Kids Club on the 300-level of the Kids Zone to receive your official ID badge and welcome kit that includes White Sox goodies.

They're also doing a cool pin series giveaway, where seven different freebies are given on a first-come, first-serve basis during the first home game of every month.

  • Los Angeles Dodgers
  • They brought back the free Jr. Dodgers kids club! They must have heard me complaining last year about its removal. Now kids can sign up and get a free swag back and access to “Kids Run the Bases.”

  • Miami Marlins
  • Here's a brand new offer this year! They used to only offer a paid membership, but now kids aged 14 and younger can sign up for free and earn rewards for attending Marlins home games. Members will receive a Prize Passport at Member HQ in Section 15, which can be scanned once per game and unlock up to four prizes throughout the season.

  • New York Mets
  • The Mets free kids club comes with a lanyard, ID card, access to Mr. & Mrs. Met Post Game Dash, and special items for every check-in at the Kids Club Kiosk.

  • Pittsburgh Pirates
  • The Bucaroos Kids Club is exclusively for Pirates fans 14 & younger. Along with the paid upgrade option, the free club gets you a a membership ID card, lanyard, free Chick-fil-A coupons and one free Pirates ticket voucher! This is the first kids club I've come across that offers free food!

  • Seattle Mariners
  • The Mariners toyed with a paid-only kids club in 2020-2022, but as of 2026 they continue to offer a free for all club! Sign up to get a free Mariners Kids Club hat that is offered in three different designs, an official kids club badge and lanyard, and other discounts and even a free ticket.

  • St. Louis Cardinals
  • As of 2026, their Cardinals Kids offers a free club for kids 12 and under! They'll get access to ballpark giveaways, free speed pitch & VR in the Hi-Chew Family Pavilion, and two tickets to a Mon-Thurs baseball game!

  • Tampa Bay Rays
  • Here's another new offer this year. While Tampa has two different paid tiers, they also offer a free Rookie tier that comes with a free sticker set and a few other exclusive events and offers.

  • Toronto Blue Jays
  • Their free plan offers 50% off Jr. Jays tickets, access to run the bases, and “in-game experiences.”

Paid Baseball Kids Clubs

No Kids Club Available

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any sort of kids club at all for these final teams. Maybe we should tweet at them and ask why?! If you get a response, please let me know what they say.

  • New York Yankees
  • The Athletics
  • San Diego Padres
  • They used to have a “Compadres Kids Club,” but all references to it seem to be wiped from the Internet, so I don't think it's offered anymore.

  • San Francisco Giants
  • They have some printable games available on their website, but there's no formal kids club that I can find.

Free Basketball Kids Clubs 🏀

They say basketball is the most global American sport. Well, the NBA is doing a good job of exporting freebies! Professional basketball teams have overtaken their baseball counterparts for the most free kids clubs, offering 14 free clubs, up one from last year. However, they only have 3 paid clubs, leaving a whopping 13 (43% of teams), of teams with no kids clubs at all!

It's worth pointing out that almost all NBA teams have a youth league or “junior” club. These are a separate thing from kids clubs, but it's easy to confuse the two. I've only linked to the kids clubs with swag and perks.

Again, these teams decided not to offer a kids club for some reason. Feel free to inquire on Twitter as to why. If you get a response, please let me know what they say.

Free Football Kids Clubs 🏈

The NFL must have gotten the message! While last year they only had 4 free clubs in the league, it's now up to 10 free kids clubs out of 32 teams! That means 31% of the league offers a free kids fan club.

Another 8 teams (25%) look to have paid clubs this season. That leaves 14 (44%!) of teams with no kids club to speak of. Smart business?

Free Hockey Kids Clubs 🏒

Uh oh, hockey. Professional hockey teams used to offer the least amount of free clubs. However, as of this year, they are now tied for first with 14 teams! (44%).

Of the remaining clubs, 7 (22%) are paid and 11 (23%) have no club at all for kids.
