Google Opinion Rewards is a survey mobile app that pays you real money in exchange for answering brief questions about your hobbies, online habits, and search preferences. The money earned can be immediately used on anything sold in the Google Play store or cashed out directly into your PayPal account.
Those of you with an Android phone might already be familiar with it, but they've recently expanded into iPhones and are looking for new users.

My Experience with Google Opinion Rewards
Over a decade ago, I bought a Google Pixel android phone and it came loaded with this app. I initially thought it was one of those pointless default apps that comes pre-installed on phone, but thankfully I took some time to actually open it. Imagine my surprise when I quickly realized it was just a clean, super-simple interface to quickly earn a little money.
Here's proof of all the surveys I've taken over the years.
As you can see, I've earned $124.04 over 579 surveys. But see all those $0.10 surveys? Those are ones that took less than 5 seconds to complete.
You'll get a lot of surveys that start with a general question, like “Do you like reality television?” or “Are you interested in snowboarding?”
If you answer “no,” then they'll say you don't qualify for the survey and give you a dime. Right then and there – no hoops, no redirects or email confirmations or any of that.
Then when you do qualify for the survey, you'll usually get an addition 2-3 questions that might take 30 seconds to answer. For those, you'll get anywhere from a quarter to a dollar. That simplicity is something I find myself appreciating the more I get older.
Another thing I like about Google Rewards is they offer you surveys pretty frequently, but they don't spam you. I get a little push notification about twice a week. If I'm busy, I dismiss it and it doesn't bother me anymore. But I like that they come to me instead of forcing me to constantly check their platform to see if there are any new surveys.
Lastly, I'll note that I earned over $100 with all of the privacy options enabled. I don't allow any app to track my location, nor do I allow personalized ads, but that limits my survey eligibility. I still end up getting a survey or two each week, so it's not like I'm algorithmically banished to Siberia.
But if you don't care about either of those options, then you can earn loads more than I do!
