Free Benefiber On-The-Go Drink Mix

After coming home from dinner tonight, when I saw this offer from Wal*Mart for a free sample of Benefiber On-The-Go drink mix, I could have sworn we had this on the forums before. I could have sworn that I’d posted it before.

Luckily that wasn’t the sake from dinner talking, but I really had posted it before. Well at least once I know I’m not too crazy.

Emphasis on the “too.”

Free Ibunex Joint Therapy

Somebody explain to me how this free Ibunex joint therapy works exactly. I just spray it on my joints and they soak it up? Do I spray it on food to ingest it? Clearly one of these is the correct answer while the other has the potential to result in a call to Poison Control. Nobody ever said running a freebie website came without any danger!

It’s cool though, because I’m up for the challenge. I like living on the edge, it impresses the ladies. Why just this morning I drank my coffee out of a chipped mug! Knowing that I was mere inches away from getting a small cut on my lip was so exciting that I had to take an extra long nap under my Hannah Montana bedsheets. What? Why are you looking at me that way?

Random Free Coupons #2

Save big bucks on everything from movies to home decor to health food with these free coupons:

Right @ Home: Start your spring cleaning a little early, or at least pretend you’re going to. Visit the Right @ Home website to get cleaning tips and print over $30 in coupons for various home cleaning products from brands like Scrubbing Bubbles, Pledge, Fantastik, Drano, and Windex.

Hollywood Video: Print this coupon to receive $1.00 off any movie or video game rental.

Blockbuster: If you’re more of a Blockbuster fan (or if you plan on going to both rental places like me!), simply complete the Blockbuster Feedback online survey and receive a coupon for a $1.99 rental via email.

Big Lots: If you liked the last coupon, you’re going to love this one! Hurry to Big Lots before February 1st and use this coupon to save 30% this time! (Thanks to Leslie!)

World Market: This coupon is a bittersweet one for me. World Market is one of my favorite stores, but I recently learned that my local store is one of many locations going out of business! Stupid economy. Oh well, I might as well stock up on all their products while I still can, and use this coupon for 10% off to save even more! They also have a coupon for online purchases, if you don’t have a store nearby.

Weight Watchers: Use this coupon to get one free bag of Weight Watchers chocolates when you buy 2. Despite the fact that they’re supposed to be healthy, the Pecan Crowns (similar to Turtles) are actually pretty tasty!

Soy Joy: I’m still waiting to receive my free Soy Joy bar, so I can’t put in my 2 cents about the taste of these odd-looking soy and fruit bars. I can, however, put in my 100 cents. Simply visit their coupon section to receive a coupon for $1.00 off any 5 Soy Joy bars.

Happy savings!

Free Flusheze Pet Waste Bag

Goob: Unfortunately this company contacted me and asked me to take down the link.

Seeing a dog can’t really read the book “Everyone Poops,” I guess the next best thing is to actually get a flushable poop baggie. And that’s where this free Flusheze pet waste bag comes in.

I’m not going to tell any more jokes. After two poop references? This whole post is just going down the crapper…

Free Bayer Pill Tote

Things like this free Bayer HeartSAFE Asprin pill tote are the type of things that I seemed to have too much of growing up, and never had an idea of what to do with them. Why, its like the waterproof totes you’d use at the beach that were so popular, or like snap bracelets.

Which all remind me of that time that my old roommate and I drove across state with my wife to escape a hurricane, he got drunk, and we cheated at skee ball to win tickets, and get a waterproof tote… But that’s a story for another time…

Free Swagbuck

EDIT: Looks like the code is now expired. It stayed up longer than I’d expected though.

Use the code BeMine to earn a free Swagbuck. For those of you with short term memory loss, I wrote a Swagbucks review yesterday and a bunch of people in the comments section mentioned how much they enjoy the site as well. I have no idea how much longer this code will be active for, but it’s my experience that they die quite fast. So what are you waiting for?!

Free Lion’s Challenge Kit

I kept telling myself as I got into a regular swing of things with an 8-4:30 job that I’d lay off of the caffeine and get back to normal hours. But a few 6-shot lattes later? I’m just as bad off as I was my last few months of college when I’d have 4-5 energy drinks a day.

Being a caffeine addict, it should come as no surprise that when I clicked for this free Lion’s Challenge kit with a can of their energy drink and of Red Bull? I sort of double/triple clicked. Actually, my jittery finger made me lose count…

Free Dime Magazine Subscription

If you guessed this free Dime magazine subscription has something to do with money, then you get an F in Magazine Title Interpretation 101. Isn’t it clear that Dime = Basketball? Yeah, it wasn’t to me either. I probably didn’t make the connection because I stink at basketball. The last time I played was in middle school and coincidentally it’s during a game that I got the nickname Goob.

I was actually a huge star. Every time I stepped onto the court, the crowd would go wild and start screaming “Gooooooob!” Someone later informed me that they were actually saying “Booooooo,” but I’m pretty sure I know what I heard.

Free State Maps & Travel Guides

You know what’s going to be here before we even know it? Travel time! I was reminded by this fact when I saw a California state tourism commercial last night and that got me to wondering what each state offers in the way of free state maps and travel guides. Coupled with our free museum admissions list (which is actually fully completed now!), your summer trips might now be a bit more fun and free!

I linked to the official travel guide for each state below. As a fail-safe, I then provided a link to each state’s DOT page if their travel guide didn’t explicitly say it came with a highway map. Here’s to never getting lost again!

Free Alabama State Map – This is the first .travel website I’ve ever seen. Cool.

Free Alaska State Map – Here’s the first case of “so, does this come with a map?” (dot map)

Free Arizona State Map – What exactly is Old West activities? Like riding around on a horse and shooting pistols in the air? Arizona, here I come!

Free Arkansas State Map – They have a plethora of travel guides and kits, including golfing, hiking, and fishing guides, calendar of events, and even a Living in Arkansas guide for those considering moving there. Wait, where are you going?

Free California State Map – I would have been ticked had they not offered some free maps, considering the fact that I see their freaking tourism commercial every 10 minutes.

Free Colorado State Map – Colorado’s official state slogan: Let’s Talk. Aw crap, they’re breaking up with us!

Free Space Camp CD and Poster

When I was a little kid, I remember visiting the space center in Huntsville, AL. And even though I went to college in Orlando, FL, I never went over to the Cape for a launch. I always wanted to go to Space Camp even before both of those, even if I wouldn’t be able to be a pilot. Darn being colorblind.

Now, I can relive those glory years of my non-existant space camp experience with more than just the old movie. Yup, I can get a free Space Camp CD and Poster and feel even sadder about my blue/purple colorblindness and lack of a summer of freeze-dried ice cream…

Free Nursing Swag

Here’s a bunch of free nursing promotional swag, like buttons, book covers, coloring books, and more. It seriously is a collection of random stuff, but in the end I simply went with a free Spanish coloring book. I figure by the time I’m finished coloring it, I’ll be licensed to practice medicine in Mexico. That’s how it works, right?

Swagbucks: Free Prizes For Searching

A while back I promoted a site called Winzy which basically was a search engine that rewarded you for searching. I’ve been using them for over a year now and have probably won somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 in Amazon giftcards. However, I’ve recently been hearing a lot about a site called Swagbucks and so I thought I’d use it for a week and see which I liked better. Final verdict? Swagbucks absolutely destroys Winzy.

Now before I go any further, let me just say one thing. There’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t be using one, if not both, of these sites. If you routinely search for things online via a typical search engine, then you’re searching without the possibility of winning something. Any time you search on Google, your odds of winning a prize is 0%. Even if your odds of winning a prize on these two sites are 0.01%, that’s better than nothing, no? Plus, given the facts that most people make multiple searches a day and that winning percentages are higher than that small number, you’re essentially throwing away money if you’re not using either one of these sites.

$50 Walmart Gift Card Contest

Free Walmart $50 Giftcard!

Ok, I’ve got bad news and then crazy awesome news.

The bad news is that I’m not going to be giving away all $400 in prizes over the next few days. Wait, put down the rotten vegetables!

The crazy awesome news is that I’m going to instead be giving away even more in prizes over the next few weeks! I was contacted by a few amazing companies last night that wanted to help sponsor some prizes, so I’m going to be stretching things out in terms of making the contests open to a lot of people. I’ll be holding a contest per week from now until at least March! Throw in the March Madness Contest and it’s hard for me to even fathom how much I’m going to be giving away over the next few weeks!

Of course, I said I’d give away something today and darn if I don’t keep my word! So for today, all you have to do is make a post on your blog about HIF while linking back to us with the anchor text “freebies” and then leave a comment here with a link to your post. Just write something cool about HIF and make sure you include the proper link back. Here’s an quick example:

Hey, It’s Free! is one of the leading sites on the internet for freebies. They filter out all the spammy freebie offers and the guy who runs it, Goob, is pretty legendary to boot! He’s even giving away a $50 giftcard to Walmart this week! So check out HIF and start getting some freebies in your mail!

Or something similar. See how the word “freebies” is linking back to HIF? That’s known as anchor text in nerdy, Internet lingo. You learn something new every day!

It doesn’t matter if your blog is on your own site, Blogger, Myspace, or wherever else you may write on the net. Just make sure you write a little something about HIF and link back to us with the anchor text “freebies.” If you don’t have a blog, then don’t fret! Posting this on a message board you frequent counts as well, as is any other place you can think of. Be creative and chances are I’ll accept your submission. Make sure you don’t forget to leave a comment here with a link to where you made the post so that I can verify it. Then, at the end of the week I’ll pick a winner!

As for what some of the future contests will be, well I will say that one of the upcoming ones rhymes with “scavenger hunt.” Wait a minute, I think I did that wrong… Oh well, if you’re not already a member of the forums, you might want to join up! :D

The next few weeks are going to be freaking awesome, if I do say so myself!

Free Martha Stewart Living Magazine

EDIT: Wow, that went really fast, especially for a Rewards Gold offer.

Unfortunately this free Martha Stewart Living magazine subscription will be the closest I’ll ever get to having a home makeover. Although I’m not sure I’d actually want Martha Stewart to show up at my house one day. Something tells me she’d get one look at my bedroom and have a heart attack. What?! It’s not my fault there’s an inch of dirty clothes on the ground and the old pizza in the trash can is only days away from becoming sentient.

What’s that? Oh, it is my fault? Whatever, you can either keep standing there playing the Blame Game or partake in a much more important game of Help Goob Find His Keys. It’s not the snow’s fault I’ve been stuck in my house for the past few days, if you know what I’m saying.
