Free Personalized Hallmark Card

Use the promo code TRIAL between now and April 12th and you can send a free personalized Hallmark paper card to a friend or family member. I guess you could send it to a stranger, but I think somebody who didn’t know me would be a little freaked out by getting a card from “Goob.”

The card will be sent directly to the recipient, so it’s like getting a free stamp as well!

Swagbucks Reminder

Just a reminder that the exclusive swagcode for new members, HEYITSFREE, expires tonight at midnight. If you haven’t signed up for Swagbucks already, you’re missing out! A few dozen Hiffers in the last post left comments saying how much they love earning free prizes through Swagbucks and thanks to this code, now’s a great time to sign up.

Free 2009 MLB Kids Clubs

Baseball is ten times the sport football is. There, I said it. I’m sick and tired of pretending that football is the greatest American innovation and that baseball has long since been relevant, let alone exciting. Call me crazy, (on second though, hold off) but baseball freaking rocks. And it starts during the spring! That’s like taking a giant birthday cake and dumping a pan of brownies on it. Tell me that wouldn’t be the best cake ever. You could probably slather some icing on top of them and then bust out the ice cream before…

Wait, where was? Oh yeah, baseball. It’s here! And you know what? Some of the Major League teams offer free kids programs. I’ve included as many as I could find in the post below and will update this as/if more become available. Some of the offers are clearly better than others, so here’s to hope your kids favorite team is listed below with some cool freebies.

Arizona Diamondbacks No Chew Club

This one won’t be available until April and they don’t say what you’ll get, but it’s going to be free, so it’s worth bookmarking and coming back to next month. They also have a free Kid’s Club where you can earn points for going to games and such.

Baltimore Orioles Birdland Package

  1. Register below and Orioles.com will e-mail you a voucher good for one (1) FREE Upper Reserve Ticket to see one (1) Orioles 2009 regular season non-prime home game during your birth month.
  2. After you register for yourself, you can then register on behalf of your child by filling out the “Birthday Celebrant Information” below to help them celebrate their special day! It’s our way of helping you create your own Orioles Magic.

Free Aveeno Nourish+ Shampoo

If you answer three basic questions, you can get a free Aveeno Nourish+ shampoo sample sent your way plus a few coupons as well. Unfortunately for me, I’ve developed a Pavlovian response to all Aveeno products whereby I start itching the moment I see their logo. I’m guessing that’s because I once spent a week’s worth of time soaking in their oatmeal baths thanks to poison ivy. Who would have guessed that lying in a patch of the menacing plant in order win a game of hide & seek wasn’t quite worth it?

Free Spin Magazine Subscription

If you don’t mind sharing your favorite vodka recipe, you can get a free Spin magazine subscription, which apparently is a magazine devoted to music. I know, it’s a bit random. The only connection I could make between vodka and music is that whenever I drink plenty of vodka, I want to sing. And boy do I ever!

I’ve also been known to run around pretending I’m a British Spitfire shooting down WWII Luftwaffe planes. This, of course, explains why the number one phrase my friends ever say about me is “Oh great, Goob’s Spitfiring again. I’m not chasing him this time! Somebody wrote his address on his forehead with sharpie, right?”

Exclusive HIF Swagbucks Offer

We’ve written about Swagbucks quick a few times already (tons of forums posts plus this extensive Swagbucks review I made back in January). After two months of using them as my primary search engine, I’d say I’m even more in love with them than I initially was. I’ve already earned enough points for two $5 Amazon giftcards and I’m fairly close to a third. How can you not love free money just for searching?!

If you’re still sitting on the fence about joining Swagbucks, maybe this will help nudge you in the right direction. Starting today, any new member who signs up can use the code HEYITSFREE to earn two free swagbucks, which will be added to the three swagbucks already offered to new members, thus giving you five swagbucks starting out! For reference, a $5 Amazon giftcard costs 45 swagbucks, so you’ll already be 11% of the way to getting your first prize. But that’s just one example, they have hundreds of prizes to choose from and dozens of different gift card options.

I usually average around 2-3 swagbucks a day though my normal search habits, which takes me about 15-20 days to earn a prize. Just think how many giftcards you’d have by now had you signed up when I first wrote about Swagbucks in January!

The code expires at midnight PST on Wednesday, so you’ve got almost two days to sign up and use the code. For people who are already members of Swagbucks, feel free to leave a comment with your opinions on the site. I’m interested in hearing what others think!

Free Emergen-C Blue

EDIT: You can still sign up for this, but they’ve removed the promise for freebies to future registrants.

This free Emergen-C Blue offer not only comes with a free sample, but it also includes free stickers and coupons! Who’s with me in thinking this should give me credit for three freebie posts today? :D

Free Lantus Insulin Travel Kit

Some people collect stamps, others hoard coins, and then there are weirdos like me who love travel kits. Seriously, I love anything travel-related. Miniature chess board so tiny that all the pieces look the same? Check. Toiletries bag so small that everything inside of it is used up after one day? Oh, you betcha. And now I can add this free Lantus insulin travel kit to my collection. Why? Well, imagine how awesome I’d look if I was on a flight and a diabetic without meds started having complications. A doctor would step forward and ask if anybody had some insulin and *TA-DA*, up stands Goob to save the day before all the adulatory ladies rush to him.

Now I just have to figure out how I’m going to procure some insulin to place in my new travel kit.

Free Redbox Rental Code

Sometimes people ask if I can post the free Monday Redbox rental code as early as possible, so here I am letting you know that today’s code is 89ZQJ3. And look at the time, it’s not even 10am!

If you’re new to Redbox, check out the Redbox Explanation Guide that covers all the basics of how to use the free rental codes as well as some personal tips & tricks I’ve discovered to help maximize your freebie movies.

Free Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizers

Call me demanding, but when I come across a freebie with the word “glow” in it, such as this free Jergens Natural Glow moisturizer, I expect the models in the ad to be glowing as if they’d smeared plutonium all over their bodies. Heck, it doesn’t even look like they’re glowing at all! The very least they could have done is covered themselves with glow in the dark stickers to make the product look convincing. How am I supposed to scare the neighborhood children if this product can’t even make me glow as promised?

Free Jiffy Mix Recipe Book

This free Jiffy Mix recipe book will look great as it sits next to my coffee maker gather dust. There’s nothing that impresses the ladies more than a guy who isn’t even committed enough to learn a few new recipes every now and then!

Wait, that doesn’t sound right…

Free Nordic Naturals Sample Pack

EDIT: Looks like they’ve hit their daily limit. Fortunately, they open up daily submissions every morning, so this should come back to life tomorrow.

Looking for some fish oils from Norway? Yeah, me too. Thankfully I found this free Nordic Naturals sample pack, which includes:

  • Omega-3
  • Omega-3 Gummies
  • Prenatal DHA
  • Ultimate 500, 369 Jr.
  • Children’s DHA
  • Nordic Berries
  • DHA

The only words I understood there were gummies, children’s, and berries. Ultimate 500, 369 Jr. sounds like motor oil, DHA brings to mind an unnecessary government agency, and Omega-3 strikes me as if the nerds on a chess team were trying to come up with a “cool” name. Hey, it’s not my fault Milton and Gretchen took me seriously when I proposed it!

Free Zyrtec

Unfortunately this free Zyrtec from Walmart isn’t available in 13 states (full list after the jump), so either people in those states are super mutants who don’t have allergies or Walmart hates them. Okay, maybe it has to do with a smattering of obscure state laws, but I prefer to imagine that the CEO of Walmart had a giant wall map of the country, 13 darts, and way too much time to kill.

Free $10 FedEx Office Digital Photo Printing GC

This free $10 FedEx Office Digital Photo Printing Gift Card offer has apparently been around for a few months and is said to only be available for the first 19,000 people, so I wasn’t too optimistic when signing up. But it accepted all of my info, said I’d get the gift card within a few weeks, and immediately sent me a confirmation e-mail. So in other words, while you’ve been reading this far and waiting for a semi-witty comment, 10 other people have signed up for this freebie and you’re in danger of not signing up in time. Seriously, what are you still doing here? Shoo, I tell you, shoo!

For those of you who aren’t sure what this is, it’s a gift card that can be used for digital photo printing at any FedEx Office, which I guess is technically any Kinkos.

Free Daily Bread

The website for this free Daily Bread offer seems to make a big deal out of the fact that their products can be stored in your pantry for up to 25 years while remaining edible. Is that supposed to be impressive? I still eat food from my Y2K stash all the time. Why just last night I found a carton of egg salad and it was delicious.

*performs a quick Google search*

Please excuse me while I phone Poison Control.
