Free NRA Trial Membership

What happens when this free NRA trial membership runs out in a year? Do you simply renew your subscription if you wish or are there further tests you have to pass in order to stay in the club? I don’t own a firearm per se, but I do have a wicked Super Soaker under my bed. CPS 4100, baby! It might not scare away any burglars, but…ah…they’ll be singing my praises if they ever catch on fire!

Free Baby Calendar

Sign #283 that makes it abundantly clear I’m a single male with no children: Upon seeing this free baby calendar offer, I asked myself why a baby would need a calendar. I then was sucked into further futile pondering when I acquiesced that even if a baby needed a calendar to keep track of all his or her important meetings, how would that differ from a regular calendar? Wouldn’t you just say “free calendar” and then hand it to the baby?

It’s times like these I wonder how much lead paint I ate as a kid.

Free Maxim Magazine Subscription

EDIT: Looks like they’ve run out of subscriptions.

If you happen to know the secret code (psst, it’s YSON), then you can get a free Maxim magazine subscription. I actually have two Maxim subscriptions already, so I doubt I need a third copy of each month’s issue. There are only so many paper airplanes and pirate hats a man can make before it just starts getting weird.

Free Movies For 60+ Year Olds

EDIT: It appears there are more AMC theaters which aren’t participating in the Senior Day freebie but are instead only offering discounted tickets.

I tell ya, I’m gonna make a great old man one day. I love yelling at kids to get off my lawn, butterscotch candy immediately puts me in a better mood, and now I find out that there are free movies for people 60+ years old.

AMC theaters has designated Tuesdays as Senior Day, where participating locations will give free admission to anybody over the age of 60. In addition, they sell unlimited popcorn and soda for $5 on Monday through Thursday. And to top it offer, admission on Wednesdays is only $1 for family movies.

Don’t forget about the Regal Cinemas freebies we covered a while back or the fact that some movie chains have reward programs.

Reminder: June HIF Survey

Just a reminder that you only have a few days left to take the super-short HIF user survey and be entered to win one of two $25 gift cards. A few thousand Hiffers have taken the quiz as of today, so if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?!

Random Coupons #21

It’s been a while since I’ve done a coupon post, but I thought I’d whip one together since the freebies are a little slow today. (edit: Doh! Sorry for not getting this published by 3:00) As always, many more printable coupons can be found on HIF-approved coupon sites like Coupons.com and RedPlum.

Also, most of these are printable coupons. If you’re having trouble getting them to print, the coupon printing help post I made last month might be of some use.

Health & Beauty:

Degree: $1 off Degree Men Absolute Protection.

Pull-Ups: $3.00 off with this coupon. If you use IE as your browser, then use this link instead to print it.

Groceries:

Ben & Jerry: $1.00 off any two pints.

Betty Crocker: Looks like they’ve got some new coupons plus they’ve reset their printing count, so you can print out ones you’ve printed before in the past.

Bush’s Baked Beans: Unfortunately the HIF Coupons.com page doesn’t have this $1 off any two cans offer.

Chex Mix Bars: Save $0.60 with this coupon.

MetroMint: $0.55 off a brand of bottled water I’ve never heard of! They have a bunch of retailers near me though, so it’s through no fault of their own.

Nature Valley: Anybody try their Granola Nut Clusters before? I probably will now thanks to this $1.00 coupon.

Wishbone: Save $0.75 on any of their salad dressings.

Yoplait: Yet another Betty Crocker newsletter signup offer. This time if you sign up, they’ll send you free Yoplait Whips samples. I assume this is via a coupon though.

Dining:

Ben & Jerry: Not quite a coupon, but mention this offer and get a free BOGO sundae every Monday from now until Aug. 31.

Hardee’s: I have no idea what biscuit holes are, but you can get 6 of them for free with any breakfast combo purchase.

Jamba Juice: BOGO smoothie thru July 12.

Misc:

Purina: Here’s a $3.00 off coupon for their Yesterday’s News brand cat litter, 13.2 pounds or larger. It may become apparent that I don’t normally buy cat litter when I say – 13.2 pounds of it? Isn’t that a lot?!

Some of the coupons above were found on Freebies 4 Mom, Common Sense with Money, and The Freebie Blogger. Thanks!

Free Drinkables Liquid Supplements

EDIT: Arg, they’ve removed the option to get a freebie.

I certainly hope these free Drinkables Liquid Supplements are in fact liquid. Have you ever tried drinking something that’s not in liquid form? It’s so hard! First you can’t force it down, then you start to get a dry mouth. And the choking! Don’t get me started on the choking.

Also, I think the comments are working properly again. And hey, it only took four hours of my weekend to fix! *grumbles under his breath like a crusty, old man*

Free Emma Watson Poster

Teen Vogue is giving away a free Emma Watson poster, but I don’t know who she is. Is she that girl from the thing? Or was she in that other thing with whatshisname? Okay, fine, I’m trying to hide the fact that I’m a massive Harry Potter nerd.

Also, and this has nothing to do with this freebie, but I know that the comments are acting weird today. I’m looking into it, but my Internet keeps going up and down.

Free Bare Escentuals at JCPenny

Here’s a coupon for a free 10-day supply of Bare Escentuals from JCPenny. Not only that, but you’ll get a free baby buki brush as well. Don’t know what a buki brush is? Don’t worry, neither do I.

The fine print says that you’ll need to take this to any Sephora inside a JCPenny store. Here’s a search guide to see if your local store has one or not.

Coupon: Free Mars Chocolate Candy

It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even need the reminder on my calendar for this free Mars chocolate candy coupon and hey, it only took two months! Way to go memory!

In addition, I recently found this incredibly cheesy yet amazing promotional video for the offer staring Neil Patrick Harris. The ending tagline alone is brilliant: “because helping each other, that’s what America loves most … that, and free stuff.” Yes we do, Mr. Stinson, yes we do.
