) on Facebook, click on the Register tab and give them your e-mail address. You’ll then be sent a coupon for a free Jack Daniel’s burger valid from October 11-14. Baseball playoffs will be going on then, so this weekend has officially become my favorite of the year since it’ll combine my favorite sport and freebies. Now if only I could find a way to include monkeys into this scenario!
I did that 2 weeks ago when TGI Fridays emailed me about that offer. I have yet to get my coupon.
The TGIFridays dude has to get 500,000 fans on facebook. Right now he’s around 300,000.
That’s going to be A LOT of coupons to email out. I’m predicting it doesn’t go well.
I would just like to say , I cancelled my facebook account long ago, and I am not a tweeter either , for these companies to ask you to register with them in these places to get a freebie is wrong. I feel that signing up on there website in there clubs should be enough.

Unfortunately no one is entitled to a freebie…you seek a freebie, you play by the company rules. Participate when you want bypass when you don’t.
When receiving updates from Woody, all you have to do is select the hide option, thus eliminating future annoyances from him. =)

You only get a coupon IF they reach the 500,000 fans other than that no one will get a free burger. And if they reach their goal you are going to have 500,000 people trying to get their free burger in that 3 day span. Sounds like KFC all over again.

This is a TGIF RIP-OFF!!! Coupon can’t be accessed and it seems to be a marketing scam to get e-mail info for SPAMMING about TGIF.
I hope Woody makes it, I love the free food gimmicks. My husband and I went to Chickfila on Labor day with our Panthers jerseys on. It was crowded but they were on the ball, about a 5 minute wait and the cost was 3.87 when we added the large fry and large drink, not bad!! And I loved seeing all of the different team tshirts and jerseys.
Hey! you could include monkeys into your plan, Goob, if you go to addicting games.com and play the balloons game. It is a game where monkey pop balloons with darts and other devices. Good Luck!
you wont get a coupon unless he hits 500,000 fans he is only at like 535,000,that is why no one got a coupon yet, its not over til sep 30th

Do we have any doubt that TGI Friday’s will reach 500,00 fans? No way!! It should be soon. They are extremely popular all over the USA and beyond. So, be patient, you’ll get your coupon!!
**An added note**
If you sign-up for their stripes card online (it will arrive snailmail) they will email you with free food ALL THE TIME!!! Stripes cardholders get advance notice of ALL the specials going on like $4.00 appetizers and $5.00 Jack Daniel’s chicken/burgers. You REALLY can save ALOT of $$. Before I got my card my bill for 3 adults and 1 child would be like $80.00-sans alcohol. Now, if we go during one of their several promos my bill is around $45.-50. BIG DIFF!! Plus for every $100. you spend they give you $8. in free food and like 4X’s a yr. they have “double points” months where you only spend $50. before they email you your $8. off coupon. You also get a free appetizer when you sign-up and a free meal on your B-Day!
*** The ALCOHOL is where they get you. But, since we don’t drink we really do save tons of $$ during the yr.

they reached 500,000 and won’t give out any more coupons. Of course they don’t tell you that until AFTER you give them your email address and join them on facebook. I think that should be disclosed before you give them all that personal info, since I did and got nothing in return but an “oops I’m sorry but I’ll let you know what else comes up in the future”. DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!

They extended the “free JD Burger” offer to ONE MILLION!!! (instead of 500,000) So, go back and enter your info again fellow hiffers!!!

Did anyone actually get the coupon emailed to them? I signed up long ago and have yet to get an email (and yes I checked the junk mail folder).
I guess I was just in the second round of email coupons. I received mine and had a wonderful, free date night with my wife. Can’t beat that!
