Elle Magazine is offering four different free Emergen-C samples. I almost went with BLUETini, but then stopped myself when I noticed the accompanying purple drink. I don’t think I can trust a drink that confuses blue with purple. That pink tea looks pretty darn red to me as well. Somebody call up Sherwin-Williams and have them send one of those giant color wheels over to Emergen-C headquarters.
The Department of the Interior is offering free admission to National Parks from April 17-25. This covers all 392 national parks, so it might be a great time to plan a little getaway and enjoy a picnic in some nice weather.

It’s a good idea to give parents the choice with regard to free baby formula. When my youngest brother was a baby, I once let him pick what to eat and he went with a remote control and a shoe. It didn’t matter how many times I explained that banana baby food might taste better; he just ignored me and kept chowing down on my sneakers.
In hindsight, I now understand why my babysitting service never got off the ground.

I’m the type of person who reads anything I can, but I’m also the type who then wants to do whatever it is I just read. It’s why I long ago stopped reading Captain Crunch cereal boxes and why I’m now scared to order a free Jungle Pilot book. The world needs many things, but Goob flying a plane into the jungle is not one of them.
Baseball’s opening day is less than a week away, which means my ability to focus and stay on point has vanished. The mere thought of baseball makes me giddy and distracts me from more important things like working, eating, and blinking.
