And once again, we go back around the merry-go-round with the revolving freebie door. Here’s another free Dove Ultimate sample, and this time its from Costco. I guess we should all be on the lookout for BJ’s, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and maybe even Popeye’s Chicken selling this.

    random 12 numbers work. or,it says “You will receive your sample in 4-6 weeks” anyway..

    Well, I tried nine and twelve numbers, then got flipped to the home page. So I have no idea if I hiffed it or not! Guess we’ll find out. Or I’ll forget all about it. Or i’ll have to wrestle it away from my freebie thief of a neighbor again.

    Me: Excuse me, Dan but you’re smeliing quite fresh today. You swiped the Dove sample out of our mailbox, didn’t you?

    Dan the freebie thieving neighbor: Ok yeah. I did. Want it back?

    (Naturally he is counting on a ‘no’ answer.)

    Me: Yep. Give it here.

    Dan will go get it and hand it over. I will then deposit in the trash while mumbling ‘bastard’ under my breath.

    For the record: SAMS club is 9 random digits, COSTCO is 12 random digits and BJs is 11 random digits.

    Speaking of people stealing other people’s freebies, did it every occur to anyone that using random numbers would be stealing that (paid) member’s freebie? Is deodorant that important to you to lower your values to stealing it from someone else?

    I tried it using the same number but a different email address and it went through both times. Perhaps the ID number is not that important. And yes, I will lower myself to getting any freebie I can use. If Costco was worried about it, they would find a way to make sure ONLY members could request the freebies. Times are tough. Deodorant may not seem that expensive to you, but when you have to choose between that and food or medicine, well, then freebies become a lot more important. I bet you volunteer at the local food pantry or buy deodorant for underprivileged teenagers right?

    Don’t whine about the problem unless you are part of the solution.
