Dairy Queen should be holding their annual First Day of Spring freebie by giving away a free small vanilla cone on Friday, March 20, 2026! Here is their official release announcing the return of this event from last year and we expect it'll return again this year.
Hiffers can swing by their local non-mall Dairy Queen and pick up a free cone all day long. Don't forget this is also the same day Rita's is giving away free Italian Ice.
Thankfully this freebie isn't like Chick-fil-A's annual dress like a cow day. We'd all look pretty silly with white traffic cones on our heads.
