Free U2 7″ “Get On Your Boots” Single
Goob and I aren’t really talking to each other anymore.
I think the fall-out started when he and I got into a disagreement over the new U2 album. See, he thinks its phenomenal and everything that’s awesome. Me? I think that its mediocre and bland. I mean, sure, I’ve seen U2 live (November 2005), and the show was beautiful and everything amazing. Better than when I saw Aerosmith and KISS (and I’m a huge Aerosmith fan), but the new album just doesn’t do it to me.
There might be hope for his and my reconciliation, though. See, he and I both enjoy the single, “Get On Your Boots”, and with this free 7″ copy of U2’s new single, maybe he and I can get along again…
Just maybe…

Box Set Anyone?11 February 2009
With ‘Boots’ released in the UK on Monday, complete with the title track of the new album on the b-side, the record company have launched a very cool competition – they’re giving away 4,000 7″ Single Collector’s Edition Boxes. Here’s how you can get yours.
The clamshell style boxes are individually numbered and will hold all four of the 7″ singles that will be released from ‘No Line on the Horizon’. First up it’s Get On Your Boots which is available in HMV and all good independent record stores in the UK from this Monday, Feb 16th.
One box per person and stocks are limited. Make sure you sign up by Tuesday 17th February to claim your box. The boxes will be mailed out at the end of w/c 23rd February to you.
I just tried it and it has arisen!
Haha, I love this post
I suspect this may be a scam, since the confirmation is grammatically incorrect, i.e. “You’re [sic] 7″ single is on its way”
Nah, Eormon, U2 announced it on their official site. It’s being put out by their UK record label. Lorin’s post has a link to the article about it on the official U2 website.
