Free Music from Denison Witmer

The one thing I love about all of the jogging I’ve been doing (other than the amazing weight-loss results I’ve had over the past few 6 months) is the time I’ve had to really dig into the music that I’ve had all stockpiled on my computer. You know, that random album that you have by that one artist that you’ve never really listened to anything else by them, but that one album is a gem and you wonder what happened to them? Yeah, that one…

And in my quest and listening to Denison Witmer’s Are You A Dreamer?, I stumbled upon a website where Mr. Witmer had rerecorded 33 of his songs (well, there are a few covers) as guitar and vocal only arrangements with little to no editing, and has provided them for free download. So while this free music from Denison Witmer isn’t really any one of his albums, its a good selection of songs to give you something new to listen to on your playlist…

Can only listen on his website. No downloads.

You can download these just fine. Adam even provides a handy little “how-to” to those who may not know how the internet works.

Like you, I’m always looking for new music to workout to! Thanks!

Wolfwerx – In Bern’s defense, I added that little “right click” after I made the post… Shoulda had it on there since the get-go…

Steph – I haven’t listened to these versions yet, but I have his album slated on-deck for a nighttime jog later on this week.

I’m listening to Are You A Dreamer right now. Very nice, relaxing stuff! Might be better for a warm-down than an invigorating workout. Or a Sunday morning with coffee…yum.

Are You A Dreamer is a fantastic album. I might give these guitar/vocal only things a spin…

I’m new at this. Like the first track. Where to I “right click” to download all? Thx

@Lauren: Are you using a PC or a Mac? I don’t remember what the Mac-equivalent is to right-clicking, sorry. If you have a PC, move your cursor to a song that you would like to download, then click on the right mouse-button. You will have a list of options to select from, one of which is “save as”. Click that option, then a “save” dialog box will pop up. Tell it where you want to save it to, that’s it.

Oh, you will have to do that for each song that you want. There are ways to get them all at once, but what I described above is going to be easiest for you.

Thanks, Wolfwerx. I’ll give it a try.
