Free Water For Elephants Audiobook

I used to be an amazingly avid reader. Not that I’m not anymore, but I don’t read nearly as much as I used to. With my hour commute everyday, I should do more, and I should definitely listen to more audiobooks.

But, with this free Water for Elephants audiobook, I might have to change my current streak. Sure, I needed to create an account and download their software, but that’s because I didn’t want to just air-stream it to my Kindle. I was feeling lazy, and not like reading. Sort of like an audiobook versus a book.

I’d get to listening to this one earlier, but after adoring the book when I read it a little over a year ago, well, I’m alright just bypassing it for a while…

    I didn’t realize that audible.com had been bought by amazon.com, so I was pleasantly surprised that all I had to do was log into my amazon account during the checkout process and it automatically created an audible account for me and put the book (in two parts) into ‘my library’. From there, it was a snap to download it to my computer, but I didn’t have to. Once it’s in my library on audible, it’s considered mine and will always be available there. I can download it again any time or stream it directly from audible. Thanks, Goob! I love free audio books!

    I tried, but no matter what I do, I cannot install the audio player file needed to download the book. oh well.

    Yeah, it isn’t recognizing the audio manager that I just installed. I’m going to try and reboot my computer.

    Ok so rebooting didn’t help but the livechat person told me how to fix it. Very simple, I’m listening now. :)

    I just can’t make it work because Amazon says I already have an account with them…I have not ordered from them in 5 years…so i don’t know my password and the “forgot password” is insane…not that interested to work this hard. Thanks any way love all the free stuff!

    I have an amazon account, and logged into it, but an audio box opened still wanting my credit card info for the $0 purchase. As a matter of course, I’m not trusting enough to do that. So passing this one up.

    OOPS – Correction. Read it wrong. It didn’t want my credit card info, only my address. So did it again and got download.

    What good is an audio book if you can’t play it in your card while your driving to work?

    Just head on over to google.com and enter

    site:audible.com $0.00

    in the search field.

    When I ran it I got “About 3,980 results”

    thanks. tried again, and did a live chat with a rep online. she walked me thru it, got the water for elephants loaded on laptop, also stumbled onto a L Ron Hubbard book….Spy Killer that was also free. what fun!
