Free Amazon Prime Video Games

In addition to free Twitch Prime subscriptions, Amazon Prime membership also gives away tons of free video games! This is a similar program to the free Epic Games weekly offers that I cover, but on a much larger scale.

Since the previous time I wrote about Prime Gaming, they've rebranded to Amazon Luna. But the end result is still the same – each month you can get multiple free games to play and keep forever. Many of these games come from the Indie Amplifier collection, which are some of the best games made by small, independent game designers. But there are also some wildly popular and expensive games from years past.

They've also since tweaked the system to connect to other game providers, like Epic Games and GOG. This additional step might feel unnecessary at first, but the big selling point here is that lets you keep the game even if you end up cancelling your Amazon Prime membership down the line!

The only thing you really have to do is claim these games before their expiration dates. Here are all of the active offers that Prime members can currently get:

It's worth repeating that the only way to get all these games is to have an active Amazon Prime membership. Assuming you have that, here's what you need to do:

  1. Create a free account on Amazon Luna.
  2. Within Luna, link your Amazon Prime to your profile by following the prompts.
  3. Link your additional accounts from other gaming stores, like EA, EPIC, Ubisoft, etc.
  4. Once you've done this, simply “claim” each game you want before it expires. Each game has a different download platform clearly listed in the description and looks like this

And that's it! These games will now appear under “My Collection” with a download link to put them on your computer.

These freebies turn over on a weekly and monthly basis, so you'd have a lot of games if you were to collect all of them over the year!
