Free 2008 Calendars
It’s that time of year again; when our wall calendars are only a month away from becoming yet another piece of trash. So with that in mind, I give you a list of a few active free 2008 calendar freebies that I was able to find this morning. Hopefully at least one of these will come and then we’ll all be set for yet another year to come. Enjoy!
Ace Adventures is giving away a free DVD as well as a free calendar. Though I’m not quite sure if the calendar comes inside the catalogue they send as well, or if the calendar is a pull out and stand alone freebie. Either way, it can’t hurt to sign up for it and find out yourself!
The Alberta Heritage for Medical Research is giving away free 2008 calendars to anybody in Canada if they simply e-mail them asking for one. I assume they’re the same calendars that we in the states would use, but you never know with those crazy Canucks. For all I know, they have 14 months up there and an 8th day between Friday and Saturday called “Hockey Day.”
Charles Rivers Laboratories is giving away a free 2008 calendar featuring some of the artwork of their employees. I have no idea what CRL does, but after typing that previous sentence, I like to think they do experiments on their own employees and then make them draw pictures all in an effort to scientifically create a robotic version of Picasso. Anyways, you have to call (1-877-CRIVER-1) or e-mail them for this, but seeing as how it only takes a few minutes at max to do either of those, that shouldn’t be a problem.
A 2008 Day-Timers Coastlines Tabbed Calendar - You also get a Wilson Jones View-Tab Professional Notebook, 9″ x 6″, Five Subjects and a Swingline convenient Portable Notebook Punch…whatever all that stuff is. I just need something that let’s me know if I need to go to the dentist today or not.
Gus the Gopher - This one is being given away by the state of Pennsylvania, but it can’t hurt to try and see if they won’t send one to you anyways! Just tell them you have a summer home in PA or something, haha.
I remember signing up for a free calendar from Mercy Ships last year and I never got it. Hopefully their 2008 calendar actually comes!
One of the calendars I got in 2007 was from Turkey Hill Ice Cream, but I didn’t see a link to sign up for a free 2008 calendar from them. So I gave their customer support number a call and they said that anybody who wants one can call 1-800-MY-DAIRY and request one for free! They were extremely nice and after checking their computers, pulled up my address and said they’d make sure to get a free 2008 calendar out to me. They even said that this year, there will be coupons for free Turkey Hill Ice Cream! Wooo!
Unity Ministries is offering a free 2008 calendar as well, which comes with “uplifting and inspiring quotes from God” on each page. Personally, I think I should make a calendar with some of my best quotes on it and give that away as well, haha.

Hi, your Day-Timers Coastlines Tabbed Calendar and the stuff that comes with it sounds really good. Especially the stuff that comes with it. But I can’t get in!
