Free Rental Codes

As I mentioned on Twitter, I’ve been getting a bunch of Redbox and Blockbuster codes recently, but with them have come conflicting reports as to which code worked still and when they expired. So I unburied my truck this afternoon and tested out the following code:

Redbox Codes

  • SNSV25 – Did not work
  • ABTS25 – Did not work
  • RBX2NITE – Worked, despite what I said yesterday!

The fact that RBX is still working was a nice little surprise,. It was the final code I tried and, not expecting it to work, I then didn’t know what movie to actually pick. The people behind me were not amused.

Blockbuster Codes

  • GW11B1 – Did not work
  • GT11A – Worked!
  • As I was leaving, I noticed a flyer taped to the top left of the kiosk with the code GL9RA and an expiration date of 03/31. I don’t know if this is only valid for that one certain kiosk, but if so, chances are your kiosk will have a similar offer as well. Look out for it!

So there you go. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to thaw my head. It was really hard trying to drive home with my eyes frozen shut.

    Went to redbox today the code didn’t work , but I used BREAKROOM with a new credit card and it worked. Not a wasted trip

    it’s didn’t work this morning at 2 seperate locations around 9am cst either but breakroom works with a different cc each time

    DVDATWAG at a Walgreens last night (Jan 8, 2010) worked.

    January supposedly works at bloskbuster express until Jan 31, 2010

    No such luck in Fargo, ND. But… maybe the machine is just frozen with this nasty weather.

    actually, ACME25 at my redbox kiosk STILL works…and god knows how long that code was posted ago

    Neither of the listed codes worked for me on 1/9/10.

    BREAKROOM worked today at our RedBox.. got 2 movies on 2 cards .. I LOVE THIS SITE.. Thanks GOOB

    Here in GA, BREAKROOM worked yesterday (1/9) and DVDONME worked today (1/10).
