It’s usually only around the time of the Superbowl that we get these wonderful commercials on TV from companies. Things that are so lucrative that you have to smile and laugh at them. Like the Budweiser Frogs, the infinite Bud Light commercials, the Office Linebacker, and too many more that my mind is jumbled and I’m forgetting them.
So when Coke came out with their lawyer campaign recently, “suing Coke Zero for taste infringement,” it was something different. I mean, it was the middle of July, not anywhere near January. And I should know: my birthday is always within the week before or after the Superbowl.
But now, Coke has taken this lawyer campaign a bit farther. Can we say, fake website to file your suit complaint? And when they receive it, you get sent a. You just need to click to contact them, and then file your claim.
Yes. A claim.
I’m only barely awake, but I know someone out there must be dying to see mine. That, or I feel like talking it up:
When I picked one out of the fridge at the grocery store, I just thought that coke had gone to a stylish black label. Everyone is doing it nowadays, you know? Team uniforms have the stylish black one for being visitors, so why not Coke? I was wrong. And my tastebuds have gone on strike against me. Now, everything tastes like bland cardboard.
So, claim away! And hey, if you think you’ve got a witty claim? Click and share it here in the comments or on the forum.
Enjoy your weekend, folks! I’ll be back on Monday with more freebees for you, but the forum will be full till then. 🙂
