Free Customized Pantene Shampoo

Here’s a slick Pantene shampoo freebie available on Facebook that I doubt will be available for long. Call it a gut feeling. Or maybe I’m just feeling one of the many bruises I mysteriously acquired last night.

Anyway, here’s how to get the freebie.

  1. Become a fan of Pantene on Facebook.
  2. Click this link.
  3. You’ll now be on your Facebook homepage. Look at the right sidebar and you’ll see a section that says “Sponsored” where a Pantene ad should now be. It looks like this. Click on “get a free sample of Pantene” and you’re all set.

    I didn’t want to become a fan (I’m picky about what I choose) but they posted a link on their wall here: http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=pantene&init=quick#!/Pantene?v=wall&ref=search, and when I clicked on it, it brought me back to the homepage with the link.

    I followed all the steps, but nothing came up. I went back, removed myself from fans and tried again. Nothing. Any ideas why?

    Any chance you could add (Facebook) to the end of the titles of Facebook giveaways? I don’t use Facebook so when my RSS feed shows a new entry I have no way of knowing whether I should bother clicking or not… same thing with Sams Club deals.

    OK, I had to go to the Pantene site from its Facebook page and then it showed up on my own FB page. If I didn’t love Pantene already I would have given up on this one.

    Make sure you don’t have a pop-up blocker or you probably won’t be able to see the ad.

    Followed instructions but did not see Sponsored on the right side. I wish there weren’t so many Facebook offers. I never understand how to use it to get the offer. Dulcia D
