‘Food’ Freebies

Two Free Bull’s-Eye BBQ Sauces

EDIT: And they’re gone!

Seeing as how I grew up in the south, I feel as if I should know the difference between the four free Bull’s-Eye BBQ sauces we might receive. There’s Memphis, Carolina, Texas, and Kansas City and all I can remember is that some Carolina uses yellow mustard.

Tell ya what, I’ll go buy some of each and hold a little taste test at my place. I’ll do it around, oh I don’t know, say early July. I should probably invite a few friends over to help me and we might as well grill up a few slabs of meat too. It’s going to be a lot of work, but it’s strictly business related!

Ok, you caught me, I’m just looking for a way to write off my 4th of July party on next year’s taxes.

[thanks Patti!]

Free Tropical Cafe Smoothie on June 18

Free Tropical Cafe Smoothie

Hot off the heels of National Hot Dog Day is June 18th’s National Flip Flop Day. You know, if processed meat and shower shoes get their own days, then where’s the love for a National Freebie Day? I tried kicking it off last year, but ended up getting charged with shoplifting.

Thankfully you won’t have to steal a free Tropical Cafe smoothie on Friday, June 18. It’s a full 24 oz. freebie, but the catch is that only the first 500 people per store get a freebie. If you wait until after lunch, chances are you’ll miss out.

IS: Free Hot Dog Day (June 15)

Did you know June 15 is free Hot Dog day? Yeah, can’t say I did either. Then again, I forgot about Christmas once, so maybe you should think twice before joining my team in the Memory Department. Anyway, if you have a nearby Hot Dog On A Stick (also known as a frickin’ corndog), then stop by today from 5-8pm for a free dog!

Sorry east coasters, it looks like they only have spots out west. I guess we’ll just have to go back outside and enjoy the muggy humidity and swarms of mosquitoes!

Free Propel Powder with Calcium

In order to get a free Propel Powder with Calcium water via Facebook, you have to explain what new activity you’re trying this summer. Uh…does thinking about hiking qualify? I gave it a genuine shot last month, but the end result was me being airlifted off the mountain.

Turns out that sitting down all day long causes leg muscles to atrophy. Just like in space! Which means by the law of transitive relation, I’m now an astronaut!

Free True Citrus Products

We’ve posted these free True Citrus products plenty of times already, but they recently revamped their site and … changed their name? Have they always been known as True Citrus? I could have sworn their company name used to be True Lemon. Eh, I’m too lazy to look it up.

Hey, don’t give me that look! I work hard most of the time! Ok, half of the time. Fine, fine, we’ll go with some of the time and agree not to define “some.”

On a completely different topic, I like how their signup form has “Dakota” listed as a state along with two options for South Dakota. Is there a secret SD I’m unaware of?

Deal: Cheap Quiznos Meal

Free Quiznos coupons

There’s a new Quiznos coupon out for any small sub, chips, and regular fountain drink for $2.99. That’s a pretty darn good deal for a lunch. It’s way better than what I had today. Evidently food shouldn’t be left for weeks in your fridge while you’re traveling around the country.

I almost marked this as an “in store” offer, but then realized that none of us have a Quiznos at home. And if you do, then shut your mouth! Nobody likes a bragger.

Free Emergen-C

EDIT: This is no longer available.

Here’s another free Emergen-C offer on Facebook. I can’t recall ever seeing this in a store before. They do try and sell some of their product instead of giving it all away, right?

Then again, I’m not the most observant person. While waiting for my brother to pick me up at the airport, I got in the wrong car and didn’t realize it until four days later. The Arthur family was really nice to me though!

Free Kraft First Taste Offers

Free Kraft Coupons

A lot of people wrote in suggesting I check my Kraft First Taste account because some new freebies had been posted to theirs. I’m glad I did, because, as the image above shows, I had six freebies waiting on me all in the form of free coupons!

  1. One free package of Kool-Aid Fun Fizz Drink Drops
  2. One free package of Oscar Meyar Deli Meats
  3. One free package of Ritz Crackerfuls Filled Crackers
  4. One free package of Kraft 100 calorie packs cheese bites
  5. One free package of Kraft Homestyle Deluxe Mac & Cheese Dinner
  6. One free package of DiGiorno Deep Dish Pizza

All told, that’s up to $21.06 in freebies right there. Is drinking a glass of wine an accurate celebration? Too late, the deed is done!

[thanks to everybody who sent this in!]

Free Starbucks VIA Ready Brew Coffee

There’s another free Starbucks VIA Ready Brew coffee offer available, this time from Costco. As many astute Hiffers figured out a few days ago, Costco has changed their membership ID system from nine numbers to twelve. So…

Y’all are starting to get too smart. I don’t even think you need me at this point! Tell ya what, let’s switch places for a while. I’ll hand over the keys to HIF and let all 50,000 of you run the site while I sit back and become the only reader. It’s such foolproof idea; how could it not work?

Free Tin of California Almonds

EDIT: This is no longer available.

This free tin of California almonds has been around in one form or another for a while now and if it’s anything like that one I got a few years back, it’s pretty nifty. It’s the perfect size for a pocket or purse, but my problem is I have nothing to put in it. I once tried using it as a super mini flask, but the wet stain on my jeans was enough of an announcement that I didn’t really think the plan through.
