IKEA has released a free ScrapsBook cookbook available to download on your phone and computer.
IKEA has created The ScrapsBook, in collaboration with chefs from across North America. This cookbook is dedicated to cooking with the little things we usually throw away. Or, as we like to call it, “scrapcooking.”
Scrapcooking is about finding the beautiful possibilities in that banana peel, radish top, or even the chicken bones you’re about to toss, and make the most of everything available to you. It’s little things like these that can add up to make a big difference.
The ScrapsBook features 50 recipes created in collaboration with chefs across North America and waste-saving tips, all designed to help you live a little more sustainably in your kitchen.
You can also join their free IKEA Family before April 14 and you'll entered to win a limited-edition hardcover copy of the cookbook! – Hiffer Marc points out this giveaway is only for Canadians. However, Americans can still download the free cookbook!
This will be the first IKEA product I ever use that doesn't leave me with 10 extra pieces and 14 pointless Allen keys.
It looks as though it’s only offered on IKEA’s Canadian site. The login from my IKEA Family US account does not work for the Canadian site.
It is hosted on IKEA’s Canadian site, however you should be able to download it here!

Thanks. I looked at the contest rules, and, alas, Americans (and Quebecois) are not eligible to win the hardcover, so I have to be satisfied with the various electronic options.
Ahh, good call on the giveaway – I completely missed it!
