The next total solar eclipse is on April 8, 2024 and should be visible in Texas before moving northeast through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. If you're planning to go see it and want to protect your precious eyeballs, then you can visit a local Warby Parker and get a free pair of solar-viewing glasses. They're offering these from April 1 until the big day, while supplies last, so don't wait too long to pick yours up! π
This interactive map from NASA contains the full path of the next eclipse. They also have a table showing the time that totality begins in some U.S. cities in the path, so you can plan accordingly to witness this awesome natural phenomenon.
I'll re-up this post on April 1 so that you can remember to pick up your freebies!
