Hey, It’s Free!

It’s March 15th! We’re halfway through the month! So what better time than to finally kick start the March Contest?! Of course I would have liked to have started this back on March 1, but long story short I screwed up the arcade database and was able to fix it this week.

As you might have guessed, this month’s contest has to do with the arcade. 15 games in the arcade, as a matter of fact. For the next three weeks, anybody and everybody is welcome to test their video game playing skillz (the “z” is for coolness!) and in the end, we’ll crown the top three winners via points total.

Points will be scored by the following method: A first place score in any game is worth 1 point. 2nd is worth 2, etc. If you don’t get in the top 10 for a game’s score, you automatically get 11 points for that game. Thus, you’re shooting for the least amount of points possible.

And what about the prizes? Well, how about gift certificates this time? $25 for first, $15 for second, and $10 for third. I was thinking about buying them from amazon.com, but then I figured I’d just wait until the winners were crowned and see what they wanted instead.
