  2. #2 Bethany |

    Printed for me!

  3. #3 joe |

coupon won’t print if you use firefox 3.5. I tried to redo the survey using IE and it said I already took the survey so I lost out on the coupon. Drag!!!

  4. #4 Goob |

Joe, are you sure? I’m running Firefox 3.5 on a Mac and it printed for me.

  5. #5 Margie |

didn’t print for me. says I already did the survey. sure don’t remember. but whatever

  6. #6 Deana |

How Do I get to the coupon to print

  7. #7 Phyl |

I filled out the survey and they told me I’d taken it already, but I surely don’t remember it. I’ve never heard that Halls is involved with conservation!!

  8. #8 Jeni |

Said I already completed the survey and would not print for me either.

  9. #9 Barb |

They lied. It told me my coupon was printing and it didn’t print and yes the printer was on and connected.

  10. #10 Evan |

if you are running Firefox 3.5 and it will not print copy the link from the address bar and paste it into internet explorer if you have it. if it says you already completed the survey re-paste the link given and change FIRSTNAME to youR actual first name, LASTNAME to your last name and email@address.com to your actual email.

  11. #11 April |

It said I already completed the survey. GRRR!!! It was a real pain answering all those questions for nothing.

  12. #12 Jennifer |

Just did it and it worked fine for me. To the ones having problems, are you changing the link to put your first and last name and email address in it? I suspect some are not and therefore the system thinks a person with the name of “FirstName LastName” has already completed the survey.

  13. #13 Barb |

Thanks, Evan. I use the most updated version of Safari and rarely have problems printing coupons. They even sent me an email thanking me for taking the survey. Oh, well. There will be other offers. :)

  14. #14 Samantha |

That was a frustrating and fruitless endeavor. First time, I didn’t realize I had to change it to my own name (oops! my fault); second time, Firefox wouldn’t print it; third time in Safari it said I’d already completed it; fourth time in Safari with a new name it wouldn’t print.

  15. #15 Jackie |

Wouldn’t work =/ This is what I got:

I wasn’t able to print at first because I was using Firefox 3.5. I followed Evan’s instructions and printed it with Explorer (after installing their coupon printing software). It was a bit of a pain, but at least I will get some free cough drops. :)

    Thanks for this site!

  17. #17 Angel |

What a waste of time! I put my name and email address in like I was supposed to but after the survey when I clicked submit…nothing! Nothing at all!

  18. #18 pat |

Couldn’t get it to work, what a PITA to fill the whole thing out. Also tried the URL without the survey thing, figuring they might have a link, no good. Went to their website, no survey link, either. Waste of time!!!!

  19. #19 TJ |

Worked just fine for me using Internet Explorer. Followed directions for address bar and had no problems.

  20. #20 mary |

Spent the time to complete the survey, only to receive the message that I had previously completed the survey and I have never been to the site!

  21. #21 Nina |

Just tried to get my coupon and it said:
Oops! something went wrong – Click back and try again.
I did that and got the same message … so I’m not going to get a coupon.
    Thanks anyhow!

  22. #22 sam |

took the time to do the survey and after all that it said I already had done the survey. Wrong! I’ve never done the survey. Bummer!

  23. #23 kelly |

    Didn’t work for me….said Oops…error. Tried again and again…Bummer.

  24. #24 JusFrugal |

Thanks, worked great for me too!

  25. #25 cmg |

Didn’t work then I read evans comment.. Thanks Evan, I guess I should read next time………..

  26. #26 Sixx |

gotta be smart, it’s not that hard on any computer

  27. #27 mindy |

This is stupid. Follow the instructions and complete the survey only to find out my the operation system I’m using is not supported. Waste of time. I was using internet explorer.

  28. #28 Joe |

I should have read the comments first. I’m not going to redo this in IE, I never have liked that browser since Win95

  29. #29 Maria |

Printed fine for me (after opening IE which I RARELY use). Yay for free cough drops.

  30. #30 Ferretsrule |

I was able to complete the survey for both myself and my husband – the coupons printed up just fine. Great freebie – cold season is just around the corner!

  31. #31 WarriorAngel |

took the survey printed the coupon no problems, thanks again hif!

  32. #32 D |

not a thing. couldn’t even get the survey to work. what a waste of time.

  33. #33 Shannon |

i know nothing about computers or technology in general and i got it to print. it really wasn’t that hard.

  34. #34 April |

re #12 (Jennifer): Thanks! It was the e-mail address that I was missing. I read this part: “unless your legal name is FIRSTNAME LASTNAME, you’ve got some typing to do.” and since it didn’t also mention the e-mail address, it just didn’t register with me. (Even though it IS typed in red below in the address, when I copy/pasted it, those parts did not come out red in my URL so I only changed the FIRSTNAME LASTNAME.) Whew! It’s been a chore but I finally got it right! Thanks “Hey, It’s Free”, once again! :)

  35. #35 Jewel |

First time I rushed and did not get the “enter your firstname lastname and email address”. Was told I took the survey already and I know I didn’t. Then I took my time and read what others wrote and was able to print my coupon out. YEA, love free stuff……..

  36. #36 Kari |

I printed the coupon, but the grocery store would not redeem it for me, saying it was a “fradulent coupon.” The bar code would not scan and the manager said it appeared to be a fake.

  37. #37 April |

Let me share something I learned about bar codes from a cashier. Some coupons (and this one is a prime example) have a “Canadian” bar code on it. If you notice there is a “normal looking” bar code and then bar code that looks like it is two lines long. That is the Canadian one. The cashier would take the coupon and fold it so that only the U.S. bar code scanned and it would work! Keep that in mind if a coupon of yours doesn’t work at a store and it has the Canadian bar code on it! :)

  38. #38 CaptDisgruntled |

Gosh thanks you guys! My husband lives on these things in the winter.
I’ve never seen an arrangement like that, where you had to manually enter user info in the URL itself–I assumed I would type that in at the end, like usual.

  39. #39 Amy |

LOVE HALL’S COUGH DROPS WHEN I HAVE A SORE THROAT

  42. #42 Cynthia |

Same thing happened to me. It said I already did the survey and I never did! I won’t be using Hall’s anymore! So there!

  43. #43 Dee |

8 times is enough to try for a freebie…Kept getting the ” you already completed survey’ msg! Bummer

  44. #44 Ricka |

    Worked for me :-)

  45. #45 Paula |

You will get a message that you completed the survey if you don’t put your name in the www. address line

  46. #46 TkeSTUD |

    Won’t print..says I already took survey…Never took it before.

  47. #47 ltdortch |

This is some setup… You have to answer all the questions on the survey. Then it informs you that you must install their “COUPON PRINT ACTIVATOR PLUG-IN”. Of course, after you’ve spent time answering the survey and realize that do to security reasons you’re not able to download the software.
