Try Your Luck Thursday: 01/21/10
I’m starting a new series called Try Your Luck Thursday, where I’ll list some on-going contests that I’m privy to. Some of the better contests I found this morning include:
- Each day for the next 23 days, one of Pampers Facebook fans will win free diapers for a year. Ends 2/13.
- Once a day, you can enter Betty Crocker’s Great Cereal Giveaway to try and win a free box of cereal. Ends 5/13.
- 1 in 20 will win a coupon for a free jar of Pace salsa. The best part is that you can play each day through 7/31 and you can win up to five times.
- Garnier is sponsoring a prize that contains an all expenses paid trip for 2 to the American Idol Finale, VIP makeovers, a chance to meet an Idol “star” and tons of Garnier Fructis products. Ends 4/30.
- Finally, ESPN and Shell gasoline are giving away free gas for a year, valued at $1,844. Ends 3/26.
But there are plenty more. Like tons more. I could spend 10 hours on this post and wouldn’t have scratched the surface. However, I’ve added 20 additional contests below and am inviting any of you to add some as well. To do so, simply do the following:
- Link Title: Put the possible top prize here with the end date in parenthesis. For instance, Walmart $25 GC (2/23) or Free Trip for Seven to Vegas (4/1)
- Email: Put your e-mail here so that I can contact you, if necessary.

i tried to enter the pace contest, but you have to have a code from under the cap of a pace product, which I didn’t have
Highly recommend the Pace contest, because you actually win. You do need a code, but once you have one you can use it over and over. K3CGCQ should work. In the contest before this one you were not limited to 5 wins and I believe I won at least 12 $4.00 coupons, maybe more, just by entering every day.
Maggie, click on the “get one here” link on Pace’s site. It will generate a code for you to use.
Ummm, Goob…I clicked on #10 – $500 or $25 Bed Bath & Beyond GC and ended up on a page for a Pepperidge Farm puff pastry recipe contest. http://123puffcontest.com/
I love Shell! That’s just about the only place I get gas these days. BTW, Citgo, charges you $.05 extra for each gallon you pump than what their price says. As far as I’ve seen, this has happened EVERY time I’ve gone to Citgo. Why? No idea.

Last thing I won was a $5 gift card to BP and where I live, the closest BP is 150 miles away. LOL.
Citgo which is now owned by Hugo Chavez needs the money to take over Latin America or Americas. (LOL) Maybe he just wants to your 5 cents to Iran.

Has anyone printed out the coupon for a free gallon of milk with purchase that is available to the first 125,000 (?) entries? If so, have you looked carefully at it. It states (at least mine does) “Free White Milk Gallon (Any Brand) With $100 grocery purchase”
I don’t know if it is a typo or not. Having to spend $100 on groceries just to save up to $4.00 (which were I am the milk gallon can be bought most of the time for $1.99) does not make sense.

Regarding the Honey Nut Cheerios (#6 above), it’s not a gift card – it’s a check. And you can win a total of 10 checks (for a total of $50) during the promotion! I’ve done it – and received 9 of the checks so far
