Try Your Luck “Thursday” 03/22/2010

Since I was busy watching the opening of the NCAA tournament and didn’t post a Try Your Luck Thursday list last week, here’s a mini one.

Don’t forget about the super easy contests that you can enter daily from companies like Pace Picante, Kroger, Subway, and Cheerios. There are hundreds of comments all over HIF from people who have won at least one of those.

Victoria’s Secret is giving away $50 and $500 gift cards. You have to take a short quiz, but I got stuck on question #2 when it asked how much cleavage I like to show. Ends 3/29.

Nature Valley wants to fly you and three friends out to Yellowstone National Park for five days, which I’d be scared to do. The last time I was in a national park, I was almost eaten by a bear. Or squirrel. Whatever, it was mean. Ends 5/31.

Why Milk is giving 50 daily instant winners prizes such as Tyler Florence cook books, board games, gift cards, and more. Ends 4/12.

Lady Footlocker is holding a March Madness style tournament where the winner will win sneaker for a year. Am I the only person who goes well over a year without buying a new pair of shoes? Ends 4/05.

Dentyne is giving away gum as well as the chance to win a Mercedes-Bez C300 Sport Sedan. If I win the car, I’d actually be a little disappointed if it wasn’t filled to the brim with gum. You have to call an 800 number for an entry code. Ends 4/30.

Speaking of gum, Extra is giving away gum and the chance to win a training session with Bob Harper. Sorry Bob, but a free car is a tad better in my book, so Dentyne gets top billing. Ends 4/30.

Turner Classic Movies is holding a contest involving tons of movies I’ve never seen and flying people out to LA to watch them. But I’m not bagging on the contest because it’s only a matter of time before my grandchildren are laughing at me for watching Major League, Matrix, or Shawshank Redemption. I’ll make them drink a ton of prune juice though, so sucks for them. Ends today, 3/22!
