Talk about a freebie offer that never quits! I first posted this free TNT Fireworks Club offer over a decade ago, but it's still kicking. I've even still got one of their stickers on my old laptop. There's also a poster, magnet, and some tattoos that come with this, but no fireworks unfortunately. Ohhh, I wonder what free “Headlines that Changed History” poster I'll recieve. I've got my eyes set on my birth announcement! At the time, it wasn't so much a headline as a page D17 blurb. But after the illustrious life and career I've managed, I'm all by certain my family's local paper has gone back and edited their archive.
The site says all you need is a valid email and address, so I entered “None” for what school I attend.
Some people like to keep track of all the different birds they've seen. Others enjoy marking off all 50 states license plates. However a new hobby has entered the arena: weed spotting!

Duke Energy is giving their customers 15 free CFL lightbulbs, which is nice for Duke Energy customers and irritating for everyone else like me. I tested my luck and called my power company asking where I could pick up free light bulbs. They laughed and made a counter proposal of “pay your bill by tonight or we're shutting off your power.” That's not the type of freebie I was looking for!
In order to claim your free bulbs, “eligible customers can order online or by telephone. For online ordering, go to your Online Services page and visit the “My Products and Services” section. To order by phone, please call 800.943.7585. Customers can check eligibility by entering their account number, nine-digit Social Security number (SSN) OR phone number and last four digits of their SSN.”
Duke Energy only operates in six states (FL, IN, KY, NC, OH, SC), but they don't list which states contain eligible customers. Thus you'll want to follow the instructions above to see if you qualify for this freebie.
In order to get this free Stella Artois chalice, first you need to promise never to call it a glass. Because apparently it's not a glass, despite being made out of glass and looking like a glass.
But fine, whatever, I just want another container for my beer. If you do as well, then get ready to sit through a painfully silly and long video shot narrated by a French computer (don’t ask) before you find out if they still have any chalice’s available.
