Facebook Location Class Action Settlement

If you were a Facebook user between between January 30, 2015 and April 18, 2018 and you turned off your Location Service setting within the Facebook app, then you may be eligible for a cash payment from a Facebook Location Class Action Settlement (not to be confused with their previous privacy and tracking settlements!)

This settlement resolves a claim that Facebook's parent company Meta improperly inferred the location of Facebook Users in the United States through their IP addresses even if a Facebook User had turned off Location Services on their iOS or Android device for the Facebook application.

If you believe you qualify, then you have until August 11, 2023 to file a claim online or via snail mail.

For any additional questions, please see their website.

I need to point out I'm not a lawyer 💼. That said, DO NOT LIE ON THESE! You are using your signature under penalty of perjury. That means you don't want to lie! However, if you actually qualify for this settlement, feel free swearing to it and file a claim to get your claim check!
