They say to “bring the whole family to your local IKEA store for free hands-on activities, tasty bites and easy inspiration for laid-back summer living. This is a do-it-together kind of adventure, with little campers exploring the trail alongside their grown-ups. Register on your local store page to join the fun!”
Some of the activities listed on their site include:
- Take a hike – Set out on a guided scavenger hunt through the store and solve the clues for a special prize! Register ahead to collect a limited edition patch while supplies last.
- Strike a post – Snap a photo worth sending home at the in store selfie spot inspired by the great outdoors and classic camp days.
- Craft BFF bracelets – Kids five and up can create colorful friendship bracelets – perfect for wearing or sharing with a new camp friend.
- Grab a bite – Full bellies make happy campers. Sample delicious IKEA meatballs while gathering fresh ideas for easy summer hosting.
