I hope I'm not telling you anything new when I say Sunday, May 12, 2024 is Mother's Day! As such, I put together this list of Mother's Day freebies and deals, including restaurant gift card sales.
Unless otherwise noted, all of the freebies below are available on Sunday. As always, be sure to confirm with your local store about their participating in the freebie promo.
To make it easier to scan, I've marked the three types of offers as follows:
- These are pure freebies!
- These are either BOGO deals on some sort of special on a various menu items or entrees.
- These are gift card deals that give a nice bang for your buck. People & families have their own favorite restaurants, so these gift card deals make sense if you know you'll be eating at one of these restaurants in the near future.
Many restaurants require you to join their free rewards program. When doing so, be sure to enter your birthday so you'll get their free stuff on your birthday every single year! Hundreds of places offer great freebies during your birthday month!
Mother's Day Freebies
- Applebee's – Buy $50 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card. This promo is available online through June 23.
- Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza – Buy $100 in gift cards and get a $40 bonus card. This promo is available in-store, online, or within the ACFP app.
- Auntie Anne's – BOGO FREE Pretzels as long as you've joined their free rewards program. Also, buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 coupon for your next purchase. This deal is available to rewards members through July 21.
- Baskin Robbins – Pre-order an ice cream cake in-app and get $5 off a $35+ order with promo code MOM. This deal is available through Wednesday, May 16.
- Beef O' Brady's – On Mother's Day, Mom's get to eat off a $10 menu with the purchase of an additional entrée.
- BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse – Moms get free stemless wine glass on both Saturday, May 11 & Sunday, May 12.
- BurgerFi – Buy $25 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card.
- Burger King – New rewards members who specifically sign up on Mother's Day will get a BOGO Whopper. So either sign Mom up to the Royal Perks or just make a new email account 🙂
- Carvel – Buy $25 in gift card and get a $5 bonus card until June 16.
- Cinnabon – Buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 bonus card until June 22.
- Cracker Barrel – Free Mother's Day Card with a coupon for a free Barrel Bite appetize.
- Denny's – Buy a $25 gift card and get a $5 bonus, with no limit.
- Hamburger Stand – Moms get a free meal, which includes a Hamburger, regular fries, and small soda
- Hooters – BOGO 10 wings. Just the place and meal every Mom wants! 😄
- IHOP – Buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 bonus card, until June 30.
- Jamba – Buy $30 in gift cards and get two $5 eRewards.
- Logan's Roadhouse – Buy $50 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card, until June 16.
- Main Event – Buy $50 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card, until August 10.
- McAlister's Deli – Buy $30 in gift cards and get a $10 reward card.
- Moe's Southwest Grill – Buy a $30 gift card and get two $5 reward cards, with no limit, as long as you're a Moe Rewards memeber.
- Outback Steakhouse – Buy a $50 gift card and get two $10 bonus cards.
- P.F. Chang's – Moms who dine between Friday and Sunday get a bounce back card good for a free entrée May 17-June 11 when their Mother's Day meal is $50 or more.
- Panda Express – Get a 5-person family meal for $30 with promo code THANKSMOM. This is only available via online orders. Making a $30 purchase will also trigger a free bowl reward added to your account.
- Raising Cane's – Raising Cane's loyalty members who signed up before Friday should have a promo code in their account good for a BOGO combo meal box.
- Round Table Pizza – A lot of news sites are reporting 15% off orders over $40 with promo code LOVEMOM, but I'm having trouble confirming this deal. All I'm seeing is the offer to cut a pizza into the shape of a heart. But it can't hurt to try the code online and see if it works, right?
- Schlotzsky's – Buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 e-gift card. Or buy $30 in gift cards and get two $5 rewards
- Scooter's Coffee – BOGO drink, which can be redeemed via their mobile app.
- Smokey Bones – Buy a $25 gift card and get a $5 bonus card, with no limit, until June 30.
- Smoothie King – Again, I'm having trouble confirming this offer, but a lot of news outlets say we can get a BOGO smoothie of 20 oz. or bigger, excluding Hulk and Gladiator sizes. I would ask & confirm this offer before ordering. This runs from May 11-13.
- TCBY – They're offering a free 6 oz. scoop of frozen yogurt in a cup or cone to all moms!
- TGI Fridays – Buy $50 in gift cards and get a $20 bonus card until June 30. Alternatively, buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 bonus card, also thru June 30.
- Wienerschnitzel – Moms get a free meal, which includes a Chili Dog, small fries, and small soda.
- White Castle – Get 20% off any order with the coupon on their site.
